I checked in to Mayfair Himalayan spa Resort Kalimpong with my family to celebrate the New Year Eve, it was mandatory to book the room with Gala Dinner for 31st December 24, i must say it was worth it to book the room ***** with gala dinner, the music was to the beat i almost felt like dancing to each song , the food was excellent, starters were being fried in front of you, they had put many live counters(both veg and non veg) you could let them know what you want and how you want, they prepared as per you, main course was inside the restaurant, desserts were mouth watering.

the hotel room was immaculately clean, with comfortable bed and plenty of space to relax , the hotel staff were warm and welcoming always eager to assist with any request , great view of K J , the hotel offered a range of amenities, including fitness center pool & restaurant , great service

Customer service at 31st Night Hotels was top-notch. The staff was attentive and went above and beyond to ensure that guests were comfortable and had everything they needed. From a smooth check-in process to helping with event recommendations, the hospitality made a big impact on the overall experience. The real highlight was the New Year's Eve celebration. The hotel organized a fantastic countdown party with live entertainment, a gourmet buffet offerings. It was a great mix of fun and class, offering something for everyone — from families looking for a fun event to groups wanting to dance the night away. There was a stunning view of the fireworks which added a magical touch to the entire evening. Considering the location, the quality of service, and the festive atmosphere, the 31st Night Hotels provide excellent value for money, especially if you're planning to spend New Year’s Eve at the hotel.

The highlight of the night was, of course, the New Year's Eve celebration. The hotel had arranged a spectacular gala dinner with live music, a DJ, and a lavish buffet that was a feast for the eyes and the stomach. There was an excellent selection of appetizers, main courses, and desserts—everything from fresh food to decadent pastries. The atmosphere was vibrant, with guests mingling, dancing, and enjoying the festivities. At midnight, there was a countdown.

These hotels are running a scam in the name of mandatory gala dinners! They charge us a bomb , make it mandatory to attend their gala dinner and then not make proper arrangements for seating the guests, no staff was attending us, we kept standing for 2 hours and then left , not a single staff member came to check if everything was OK, food was all cold, terrible as a matter of fact, I am not sure what was the charge for?? I would have enjoyed a nice meal inside the restaurant instead of this blackmail and standing in cold evening outside!! My suggestion is if you can’t make proper preparations for guests to be accomodated, then stop forcing everyone to participate!! There were some unruly guests as well whom the hotel staff refuse to manage or talk to !

Lovely boutique property and exceptional staff service. The property is beautifully maintained and the staff is very overwhelming and kind. The couple massage spa is something to die for. Do not miss the breakfast buffet spread. Thank you asmita
