Es hatte uns sehr gut gefallen. Kommen immer wieder gern zu euch ins Hotel. Es gibt nichts zu meckern. Was uns sehr gut war, dass wir mit Florian deutsch sprechen konnten😘

Characterfully and stylishly designed rooms, comfortable and spacious, with fantastic views. Relaxing and informal atomosphere, with friendly and helpful staff. Beautifully located overlooking False Bay in the bohemian village of Kalk Bay. Delightful garden and pool. And the best breakfasts ever.

Warm reception, interesting and very comfortable room, facing onto the charming fisherperson's harbour of Kalk Bay. A short walk away from a variety of restaurants, Chartfield House was ideally suited to our needs. The excellent breakfast served overlooking the sea, could not have been better. Our only regret - that we didn't spend a little longer right there!

We decided at the last minute to stay in Kalk bay, it was 5pm when we booked the hotel. The staff welcomed us very well and even gave us a room upgrade. The view from the hotel is beautiful and the location is very central. Kalk bay is worth a visit, and taking an easy morning to shop around and enjoy a nice coffee near the harbour.

10/10 when it comes to value for money. This is more like a Boutique hotel than a guesthouse for us. Love the “clean” interior and the view from our attic room was amazing (but be aware of the step stairs to get up). Staff very friendly and service minded. Breakfast was fabulous and got everything you wished for. Perfect location!

The Chartfield Guesthouse is nestled in the hub of Kalkbay and the staff and owner were hands on with excellent service. Despite the rain, we had a lovely break.

We loved every minute of our last minute stay at Chartfield! After me messing up the dates, Justin and the team accommodated us in a gorgeous room. We leave on the West Coast, North of CT and needed a quick leave over venue to get through all of our errands. Chartfield was the and much more and we'll certainly be back again with more time to enjoy the beauty of their building and location.

Firstly the hotel is so beautiful & clean & from the 1st morning I felt extremely at home. The rooms were so clean & fresh & modern. The bed was more comfortable than our bed at home. Myself & my husband slept like babies every single night. The staff, especially the owner Andreas were extremely helpful and very welcoming & there was not a thing they couldn’t do for us. My husband instantly mentioned how lovely Andreas was. Justin was also extremely friendly and helpful as were all the other staff members. I would highly recommend this guest house for your stay. I do hope we are back at some point in our lives. Thank you Andreas & team for the perfect stay.
