Coming out of Fethiye, I booked a hotel on the way to Kaş. When I was planning the trip, I thought I could leave two days of hotel time for flexible arrangements. It turned out to be quite good. Kalkan is a petite, comfortable and slow-paced place. For this reason, I didn’t stay in Kaş in the end, but stayed in Kalkan for two more days.
1. In terms of transportation, Kalkan is between Fethiye and Kaş. The D400 highway passes through the town. It is a circular town built on the beach. It is not big in general, but it is difficult to drive or walk in the city on the hillside. You need to be careful when driving. True Blue is not far from the beach (but not close to the beach);
2. In terms of decoration, the hotel is a Mediterranean-style suite with one bedroom and one living room. The bedroom is small enough for two small beds or a king-size bed to sleep. The bedding is very comfortable; the living room of the suite is quite large, and it is very comfortable to take a nap. I especially like the small balcony of the suite. Very small and beautiful B&B. The room was very clean and tidy, the bedding was of good quality, and the decoration was simple. Our room balcony had a view of the sea. The gentleman and lady who received us were very kind and thoughtful. The variety and quality of breakfast were very high. If there is a chance, I will choose to stay again.
