Without doubt my favourite hotel we’ve stayed at in the Maldives. We have visited the Maldives over 5 times staying at various 5* hotels and this by far this has been our favourite! We will certainly be back again! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and general manager. Our “Gem” Shifu was very welcoming always smiling and made the extra effort to make sure we were all taken care of from the beginning - our boys loved seeing her! She even made/organised a certificate and cake (as a surprise) for our youngest who learned to ride a 2 wheel bike for the first time! All the staff extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible (appreciate this) offering off menu foods for our children. The activity Center had a wide range of activities. We had the opportunity to see a rare experience of snorting with a family of manta rays. The atmosphere and staff are so special here - that it was really a relaxing holiday where all we had to do was enjoy our time there. No stresses no problems - everything was taken care of -just pure enjoyment and fun throughout the holiday! All respect for the general manager who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality! Thank you again looking forward to coming back again!

We’ve just returned from our stay at Six Senses in the Maldives, and everything was truly excellent! Our villa was spacious and perfect in every detail—a true piece of paradise that allowed us to relax from the very first moment. A special thanks goes to our GEM, Sameeh, who took care of every detail with great attention and kindness. All the staff, from the restaurants to the spa, were incredibly attentive and made us feel pampered at all times. A particular thanks to Elisa for the amazing diving experience and to Rohit for his Hatha yoga, sound healing, Pilates, and aerial yoga classes—he is an incredibly skilled professional! The island is paradise in every corner, a place where we could recharge and forget daily stress. Now, we’re back in front of our screens, in the office, a bit sad to have left this dream place behind. The food was exquisite in every restaurant—the Italian, Spanish, and Japanese options were all delightful. The beachside seafood buffets, with grilled options under candlelight and live music, were magical. Desserts were a feast for the eyes and the palate, and the breakfast spread is truly a haven for anyone who loves to eat healthy, with a wealth of delicious, nutritious choices to start the day right. Thank you all for an unforgettable experience. We hope to return soon!

Ich habe sehr lange recherchiert, bis ich mich für Hilton Amingiri (4 Nächte, Bewertung s. dort) und Six Senses Kanuhura (7 Nächte) entschieden habe. Wir haben unsere Flitterwochen in den beiden Hotels verbracht. Ich wollte, dass alles perfekt ist und es war alles perfekt! In Hilton haben wir eine Wasservilla gebucht, in Six Senses eine Beach Villa. Wer die Möglichkeit hat, sollte meiner Meinung nach beides ausprobieren. Wir waren im März drüben und haben perfektes Wetter gehabt. Es waren auch nicht viele Leute zu dieser Zeit dort. Six Senses Kanuhura ist ein Paradies auf Erden. Es schaut wirklich so aus, wie auf den Fotos! Wunderschöne Insel mit traumhaften Stränden. Sehr gepflegt (wir haben definitiv keinen Müll gesehen, höchstens eine Plastikflasche in der Früh angespült, dafür kann die Insel aber nichts) und gut bewachsen. Sie ist eine richtige Barfußinsel. Die Schuhen werden bei der Ankunft in ein Schuhbeutel gepackt. Man kann die Insel komplett umrunden, es gibt keine Wellenbrecher und keine Sandsäcke! Malediven Feeling Pur! Ursprünglich habe ich eine Deluxe Beach Villa mit Pool auf der Sonnenuntergangsseite gebucht, haben aber ein Upgrade bekommen auf eine Beach Suite mit Pool auf der Sonnenaufgangsseite. Danke sehr dafür! Die Sonnenuntergänge haben wir sowieso von der Sunset Point Bar aus genossen. Die Villa war atemberaubend. Die Sonnenaufgänge waren wunderschön! Der Strand vor der Villa hat die perfekte Breite gehabt. Unser Pool war nicht einsichtbar! Wir haben perfekte Privatsphäre gehabt. Es ist bei nicht allen Villen so. Wir haben neben den ganz neu gebauten Villen (hier brauchen die Pflanzen natürlich Zeit um wachsen zu können), auch einige Beach Villen mit Pool auf unserer Seite gesehen, die sehr wenig bewachsen sind. Wir haben seit langem nicht mehr so einen erholsamen Schlaf gehabt. Die Villa wird zweimal am Tag gereinigt. Wasser, Tee und Kaffee waren im Zimmer kostenlos. Das haben wir erst vor Ort erfahren. Es gibt auch kostenlose Sonnencreme, After Sun und Insektenschutz in der Villa. Wir haben Halbpension gebucht. War für uns vollkommen ausreichend. Bei der Hitze hat man sowieso keinen großen Hunger. Getränkepaket haben wir auch nicht dazu gebucht, da wir in erster Linie nur Wasser getrunken haben und sehr wenig Alkohol konsumieren. Ich habe mir vor der Buchung alle Getränke Menüs zuschicken lassen, somit war ich auf die Preise schon vorbereitet. Unsere Lieblingsrestaurants für das Abendessen waren das Hauptrestaurant (The Market) und das spanische Restaurant (The Point). Das japanische Restaurant haben wir nicht probiert, deswegen kann ich dieses nicht bewerten. Der Service und das Essen war überall hervorragend! Wircklich TOP! Auch das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Als Hochzeitsreisende haben wir eine Flasche Champagne, ein gratis Mittagessen im Drift (alternativ 60 minütige Massage) und auch Abschiedsgeschenke bekommen. We enjoyed our stay very much & miss the place already!! Beautiful island with very tasty food, very nice staff & great villas. We had No41 and it was just perfect in every dimension. Loved to snorkel in front of our villa. We met a beautiful big turtle! 🐢 Yoga, Meditation, Diving, Tennis & Squash was a lot of fun. The massage at the Spa was also very professional. Only thing missing: Organized daily activities for older kids like football, beachvolley etc. Thanx to everyone for making our 10days-stay a unique experience ❤️

Our experience at Six Senses Kanahura was 10/10. The hotel facilities are super complete, the service took super good care of us (specially our GEM Lucia was incredible with us), and the marine life near the hotel are beautiful to enjoy your stay without moving from the hotel.
