Overall, it's really good at this price. Although the facilities are old, the room is quite large and basic items are provided (shower gel, shampoo, tooth brushing set, disposable slippers). I haven’t encountered the problems of bugs or insufficient air conditioning that others have mentioned, and I’m still grateful for that🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻.

The cleaning staff are also very polite! The basic room facilities are all available, and the water jet of the shower head is strong enough! It's just that sometimes the smell of smoke wafts out. People who hate the smell of smoke and can't accept the old facilities of Taiyangchun, please think carefully about whether to stay.

There is also a car rental shop opposite and there is a 7-11 downstairs which is very convenient! The room is well equipped and the air conditioning is cold enough for this weather! Except for the bed, there will be some small hairs, but it will not affect your sleep! There is a fourth TV channel ~ the house price is cheap! Will visit again next time I come to Kaohsiung❤️🌟

A hotel from the 1980s with dilapidated equipment

I stayed at the Huahong Hotel at No. 243 Jianguo 2nd Road from 5/1 to 8/1. When I checked in on 5/1, I had to change rooms due to cleanliness issues and missing equipment. I checked in on 8/1 Drop off your luggage in the lobby when checking out. I have informed the lobby staff that I will return to the hotel at 6:00 that day to retrieve my luggage. But when I returned to the hotel around 6:00, I found that the hotel door was closed, no one answered the phone, and there was no one at the front desk. I shouted outside the door but no one responded. There was no sign outside the hotel door or at the front desk indicating why it was closed, so I called many times. No one answered the phone! I waited outside the door for half an hour but there was no one. Since I took the 21:00 flight back to Hong Kong that night and was eager to get my luggage back, it was unreasonable that the hotel had no one at the door during business hours. I called multiple times but got no response. People answer. It's too much! In the end, I had to wait outside the door for about 45 minutes before someone came down to the lobby from upstairs. I was extremely disappointed with this hotel. This hotel did not inform guests in advance that it would be closed! Passengers cannot return to the hotel, which also makes other passengers who have left their luggage very worried. How can a hotel run like this allow guests to stay with confidence? Please don't stay in this hotel.

The environment of the hotel is good, the accommodation price is affordable, and the overall feeling is above average... Except for the poor network signal, there are no other problems. It is very good~ I can recommend it to others! ! !
