Prezident Luxury Spa & Wellness Hotel

Первый раз были в отеле на Рождество. Нам так понравилось, что решили приехать летом на отдых и лечение. Номера просторные, есть всё необходимое. Очень хорошая кухня, разнообразная. Более 100 различных процедур от классического массажа до жемчужных ванн. Прекрасный персонал, искренне заботливый и вежливый. Гейзеры рядом с отелем, это очень удобно. Рекомендую этот отель семье, друзьям и конечно тем, кто сейчас читает этот отзыв. 😀

4 days of wellness and enjoyment in a location that left nothing to be desired. The rooms, wellness area and breakfast offer offered us everything we were looking for. From here it is just a few steps to the center and the spots that make up the place.

We were guided by the room photos on the hotel website and booking page and booked a so-called deluxe double room (for an additional charge compared to a standard double room). For us, the slightly larger bathroom and bathtub were the deciding factors in our choice. Payment was made directly upon check-in. When we moved into our room, we realized that we had clearly been given a standard room (recognizable from the bathroom photo). We immediately informed reception but were assured that we had been given a deluxe room. According to reception, the standard rooms are at the back of the hotel with a view of a building wall, while the deluxe rooms are at the front with a view of the street. The facilities are apparently the same for standard and deluxe. When we protested that the website clearly promised something different, we were put off with an appointment with the booking manager the next morning. We were not offered another room even when we asked. However, we had the option of moving to a junior suite for the regular surcharge. A conversation with the booking manager the next morning repeatedly revealed that standard and deluxe have the same facilities, but deluxe rooms are larger (by exactly 1 square meter). In fact, some of the deluxe rooms have a bathtub - but you have to specify this when booking if you want one. Good to know! During the second day of our stay, an extremely unpleasant smell of rotten eggs developed from the shower in our room. We informed reception, housekeeping came and poured chlorine down the drain. This made the smell better, but it came back after a few hours. Housekeeping came again with chlorine. We asked for another room, but the hotel was apparently at 100% capacity (according to Booking, rooms were free and bookable). And so the game with housekeeping and chlorine continued until we left. Unfortunately, we also have to complain about the cleanliness of our room. Strange hair in the bed and on the sink and bathroom floor is a real horror. We were also "lucky" that our room was right next to the elevator and stairs. Through the thin-walled room door, we could hardly miss conversations in the hallway and elevator and every elevator ride or every door opening/slamming. It is particularly pleasant when the first guests go to breakfast at 7 a.m. Unfortunately, we cannot agree with the title of "Best Wellness Hotel in Karlovy Vary". The sauna and swimming area, which is open to all hotel guests, is extremely small! Four different saunas - 40, 60, 90 degrees and a wet sauna - each can accommodate maybe four, max. five seated adults, then it is full. So when the hotel is at maximum capacity, it is more of a mass rush than a relaxed, quiet sauna. Breakfast was OK but not great. We did not have lunch or dinner.

My wife and I stayed in this hotel for five nights for the second time; we were very satisfied each time. Everything was just perfect (room, food, wellness area, cleanliness, friendliness of the staff, and not least the price). We found both the included and the additional treatments to be very professional. The initial medical consultation, for which Dr. Sarova took a lot of time, was also helpful. If there is a problem (in our case, a room with a bathtub instead of a shower), it is dealt with immediately. We will definitely spend our next "spa vacation" in Karlovy Vary at the Hotel Prezident again.
