Hotel Coral

Stayed for 3 nights in late September as part of a 9 night break on the island. Not normally our thing to stay in small family run hotels but this was a late decision when the villa we wanted wasn’t available for the whole of our stay. But what a great piece of luck. We all loved our time at Coral, the 2 of us and our young adult kids, just on a late season break for some relaxation. As others have said, the staff are exceptional. Special mention to Adoni at the bar who was warm and friendly from the start. We had some great evenings sitting around the bar chatting and enjoying a few drinks. Food in the restaurant was very good, the rooms spacious and clean and the pool area plenty big enough with loads of sun loungers. And a great location for the sea and the main part of the town.

It’s the owners and staff which makes your stay special at this fab hotel. All are friendly and caring ; managers, waiters, barstaff , receptionists, nothing is ever too much trouble for them. We normally go out and about exploring on our holidays- but we felt so relaxed here we barely left the hotel ! Evenings were perfect here, a drink at the bar, then dinner overlooking the sea, with food as good if not better than any restaurant in the village. We enjoyed it so much we booked for next year during our stay . We were lucky enough to have a refurbished pool view room, and these have a stunning boutique hotel vibe. The bathroom being probably the best we’ve ever stayed in . Thanks to all the family and staff who took great care of us for the whole of our stay. You’re simply the best! 💙

Our first time to Corfu and we couldn't have asked for a better hotel to stay. Roda was recommended to us by a friend and it didn't disappoint. Coral Hotel facilities are great, we were half board and ate in the hotel every night. There is a set menu but you can deviate from this to the main menu, food was lovely and great choices. The hotel room was spacious looking out onto pool area. No need to claim a sunbed, plenty by pool and surrounding gardens. Lastly staff are excellent, so friendly and helpful. Lovely 2 week stay, definitely reccomend.

A lovely hotel with great staff who really make your visit very pleasant. The hotel is well located in Roda where there are a lot of good restaurants to choose from. The food in the hotel restaurant is also very good. I fully agree with all the positive reviews of the hotel. Overall a great stay at Coral Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to holiday in Roda.

This was our second stay at this hotel, we stayed last year as part of a cruise and stay holiday too. The hotel has had some improvements done over the winter which I followed on their instagram page. We stayed in a pool view room in the main building, on the second floor, which was huge! The decor was very ‘boutique hotel’, and we had a four poster bed, only problem was, it was the hardest bed we’ve ever slept on. We did ask for a topper but they didn’t have any. There were two sofas in the room, both also hard, and the balcony chairs were metal, so nowhere comfortable to sit and chill out. The bathroom hadn’t been refurbished, and was so dark, with a shower in the bath, very difficult to put make up on or contact lenses in with such little light! The bar area is still lovely, great cocktails, but unfortunately they now have Corfu lager on tap which is awful (not just our opinion, quite a few other guests agreed). The pool area is also still lovely, great new comfortable sunbeds, but not sure why they have had the pool painted yellow with white swirly bits, it really doesn’t look inviting anymore, was far nicer as blue. That said, the best thing about this place is the staff, they all fantastic!! I’ve never been to somewhere with such a lovely, family feel to it, always smiling, and so hard working… we will be back, just hope they paint the pool blue again 🤣 T

This was our second visit. The hotel has been refurbished since last year and improvements made to the general areas, including the garden area. Our room was one of those which has been refubished. and has more a boutique type feel. The bathroom has a open walk in shower, with the toilet situated within the walk in area.. The shower is great with good water pressure. However this meant the floor getting flooded and the toilet being unusable, after a shower. We had to mop up the water with towels which got soaked and are only replaced every other day. An upstand floor curb together with a shower curtain would stop this happening. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. The staff are wonderful and the food excellent.

My partner and I have just had a wonderful stay in this charming hotel and apart from our bathroom being a little dated though perfectly functional, we absolutely LOVED this place. All staff are kind, charming and first class at what they do. The rooms, grounds, bar, pool area are all terrific and kept beautifully and alllow guests a deep sense of peace and relaxation. A five minute stroll to the town where you have your choice of bars and restaurants. However, the food in Taverna at the hotel is also fabulous. Thanks.so much to all the staff for their kindness.

What a beautiful friendly hotel. This is the second time staying here as a family. From the moment you arrive at this hotel you are made to feel welcome. Rooms are spotless and cleaners do an amazing job each day. Pool area is clean and has a pool bar. Has own beach area, easily accessible. Free use of paddle boards and canoes. Restaurant offer all types of food and delicious.

A fantastic holiday at a a fantastic hotel. There was absolutely nothing that could be faulted here. The staff are the most helpful and friendly we have ever seen. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spotless and cleaned everyday. Our bed was also very comfortable which is not always the case in some hotels. Food in the restaurant was very good with a great seaview from your table. The location is excellent, only a few minutes from the shops and bars on the ***** and is right on the seafront. We had a lovely holiday here, made even better by the great staff.
