We had booked, and confirmed by phone, 3 Queen rooms. Upon arrival we were given 1 Queen room and 2 rooms with double beds. The host could not understand why we weren't happy with the "more expensive rooms" (who wants to sleep in a double bed??) No compensation was offered for the mess up. Rooms were decently clean, but the building is worn. Paint coming off the walls on the bath towels, dead bolt came off one door when it was opened. Roof leak in the main floor hallway greeted us upon check in. TV functioned in 2/3 rooms we'd booked, the last one wouldn't even turn on. There is not a working ice machine in the hotel and the bar server had to go to the restaurant to get ice. Mattresses were far from comfortable and don't stay on the platforms, so you may find it running away on you! Mini fridges did appear to work in all three rooms, so that's a bonus! Continental breakfast is toast and cereal, coffee, juice and hard boiled eggs. Would love to see even a bowl of apples or bananas to add to the selection. The staff appears to be 3 people running the check in, bar, cleaning, etc. They are trying, but the building needs cash input and upgrades. Unfortunately, there aren't many choices in the area which is the only reason we chose to stay here.
