Great proper Irish 5 star hotel. Loved the way the property brings the landscape indoors by using huge windows framed in black. Not many hotels in Ireland embrace the landscape in this way. Only drawback is there is really only 1 choice for evening meal. The bar needs to offer better menu a la sister hotel The Europe.

Loved, loved, loved the Dunloe. We played tennis on carpet, ate in an incredible dining room hosted by the best waiter, drank in the sophisticated bar, and had a lovely breakfast after a comfy sleep. The quality of this place is under stated but its around you always as manifested by warm friendly staff and a nice cosy feeling. We'll be back.

really great Halloween break wit the family in October 2023. Stayed for 3 nights . The decorations and events for the kids were top class. staff were really really good and very helpful. Food was excellent for the duration of our stay from breakfast to dinner.

We first visited the Dunloe in July 2023. Our 3 year old had such a great time she never stopped talking about the Otel 😂 so we booked a return visit for 3 nights. The hotel is just beautiful, the scenery, decor, food are all fabulous. All the staff we encountered on both stays were so friendly but also excellent at what they did. We had a family room so had 2 rooms interlinked which meant when the children were asleep in their room we could relax &enjoy a cocktail in ours without being afraid of waking them. Bob down at the stables is a gem. He was so friendly to our little girl she had been talking about Mindy the horse since our first visit. She was delighted to lead her out of the stables in the morning & get to have a little trot around the yard which made her stay. The pool is lovely, stunning views from it &plenty of fresh fluffy towels. I enjoyed a massage on one visit which was so relaxing. The food is exceptional at the Dunloe. Amazing selection for breakfast. We had a light bite to eat in the bar &enjoyed dinner in the restaurant. Both service &quality of food were what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Looking forward to visiting the Dunloe again

We had our wedding here just a few weeks ago and we are so glad we made the choice of Dunloe. Everything from food, service ,views , accomodation was second to none. Our guests had nothing but good reports to say about everything with our dessert( grand marnier parfait) being a huge hit! Bridie our server on the day was also a huge hit and such a lovely person. Jason & Rachael went above and beyond for us & nothing was ever a problem. Every staff member was fantastic & we Cannot recommend this hotel enough

Everything about the Dunloe is spectacular. We had our wedding here and couldn't be happier with how it went. Between the staff, Rachael, food and accommodation is truly 5*. We will forever be grateful for giving us the best day of our lives.

Lovely hotel reception, bar and dining room are beautiful. Family room is dated for the price. Breakfast is good. Have a kids dinner hour that is a buffet which is great but no adult meals served at that time and kids would not sit through 2 dinners. Pool was lovely and the grounds. Dinner was good if not a little small for the price. The profiteroles dessert was next level. It's a good 15 to 20 mins by car from killarney FYI.
