DO NOT waste your money on this place. The pictures provided do not represent the reality of the place. The room was small. Floor was sticky and the room felt and looked dirty. The shower did not have a shower curtain. The sink was on an unfinished piece of plywood and held up by 2 pieces of wood. The bathroom door jammed and had to be pushed shut. I asked for a queen size bed and got a full size bed. The reception doesn't look like the picture at all! Left early in the morning so I didn't see the food but didn't even want to eat there. The place looks old and needs renovating. I booked 2 nights and only stayed 1 because I got there late and I was tired but there was no way I was going to go back. I canceled my 2nd night reservation and they refused to provide a refund. I wouldn't want this to happen to someone else.

Hillside is convenient to Harper's Ferry and inexpensive.. A little beat up but clean and safe.. If you are looking for a no frills place to sleep and a hot shower after a long day at Harper's Ferry it's perfect..

Hotel room had bugs, a strong odor of mildew and the shower was cold. The conditions were so poor that we left a day before required and went to another hotel.

I stayed for a business trip, and the early check-in was smooth. The lobby was clean and welcoming, while the staff’s appearance was professional and friendly. The room maintenance was excellent, and the property was spotless throughout my stay.
