The large hotel has modern and very clean rooms and a very good room service. The TV in my room did not work. The swimming pool is very nice but unfortunately there is no gym available. You can rent a motorbike there for 300 baht per day (quite expensive) but unfortunately the staff there is not easy to reach when you wanna return the bike. You can park the bike at the nearby Central shopping mall which is quite complicated because the parking space is very narrow. All in all I would recommend the hotel!

The best hotel I’ve stayed ever! It’s located on a cliff, far from noise, great views! There’s free shuttle bus to Lamai beach or Chaweng beach. The hotel owns an App to introduce everything and communicate, very convenient, staff are helpful! The breakfast is fantastic, super delicious! Eggs, drinks, fried rices, etc all you can order! Free flow champagne as well! We didn’t stay in a villa, but the view is good, room is big! There’re 2 infinite pools in hotel, and one private beach! We heard there’re some water sports available but the tide was too strong to do so during our stay! We had a great time, will definitely stay there again!

When we arrived at Ko Samui airport, the transfer service from the hotel worked perfectly. We received a very warm welcome at the hotel and were given our room straight away. The room (Grand Deluxe Room) far exceeded our expectations. It's less of a room and more of a small apartment without a kitchen. The hotel complex is absolutely paradisiacal. Lots of beautiful plants and very well maintained. The beach was amazing, the most beautiful beach we have seen on Ko Samui (we explored the whole island by motorbike that we also rent from the hotel). The sea - turquoise blue clear water. The great thing is that it is a private beach so only accessible to hotel guests and therefore not overcrowded. The food was fantastic. There is a very large selection and there really is something for everyone. The pool area directly on the beach with an included pool bar is very beautiful. And the cleanliness of the whole hotel was excellent. What particularly impressed us and what we have never experienced on our many trips... was the warmth and friendliness of all the staff. Everyone was always helpful, funny and good organized. Friendships developed in this short time, for which we are very grateful. We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for what you have done for us. You gave us a wonderful honeymoon and organized such a beautiful candlelight dinner that we will never forget in our lives. Good hotel review for Bhundhari Chaweng Beach Resort review is still out of My friend and I have spent 2.5 weeks in this hotel. I have to say that the rooms in the main building are really not recommended. Very small, no clothes box, too warm, air conditioning does not seem to work so well, not clean, we found the idea there spend all the time goaaaaar not fun :-( Therefore we have upgraded and into a beach bungalow intruded. That was great! Very large room with a sky bed, terrace, large bathroom and directly on the beach :-) A few steps and we were already at the pool with a super view of the sea. The beach is small but very beautiful. Few people and Turkish blue water. You can also use another beach, but we found it still nice. Although big but full and there were not enough sunscreens. I prefer smaller beaches where not so much is going. Location: The location is super, everything nearby, supermarket, has 24 hours on, restaurants and etc. To Chaweng Center only 5 minutes with Tuk Tuk (50 B per person) massage we have made directly on the beach, This was very great (price about 8 Euro) There is a food market every day in the center where you can really eat very cheap. Also there are a lot of shopping opportunities. Service: Service is generally super, very friendly people in Thailand. A lady named Van has worked at the hotel, she speaks a good English and is super guilty and helpful. Breakfast: We booked the hotel with breakfast. The selection is not soooo contriving, fortunately you could always order eggs :-) So who likes a wide breakfast with a lot of choice is not satisfied. In the whole, I can absolutely recommend the hotel but only the bungalows. That was great time in Thailand! We will come back in any case :-)

Our stay wasn’t bad here, however you can get much better for the same or less that what we paid for this room. We had a view of a room, however we expected a lake view with it being called that. Not end of the world didn’t spend much time in the hotel anyways. AC - this was great when it was on. But you couldn’t leave it on when you left the room, which means the room is so hot when you return. No blind in the bathroom so it’s boiling in there even with the AC as the sun comes straight through. The room was very big, but filled with nothing. Lots of empty space. From 18:00 roughly, there didn’t seem to be anyone on reception. If you needed anything you had to call a number. They were instantly there - so not sure where they go but it’s close. The doors when closed bang so loud, which can be an issue on a night. The walls are not very sound proof. Lifts were out of order the whole stay. No HotTub like it said on our booking. But not sure if there is one somewhere in the hotel - that you have access too. We hired scooters from here 300B a day and someone drops it off for you, if you want to extend you can do this at reception. The location is perfect. Couldn’t fault it. Wifi is also great! And their laundry service is great too. The staff were amazing, couldn’t do an enough for you. Not a bad stay, not the best. We considered moving so we had a balcony - somewhere to sit on an evening. My rating 6/10 - Unlikely I would stay again, mainly based on things I’d want in a hotel next time.

The Mercure Samui, is hands down one of the most spectacularly positioned hotels on the beautiful Chaweng beach. At just one year old it is also the most beautifully landscaped and furnished of the many hotels we have been so lucky to stay during our travels. The team who maintain and care for the hotel and clearly understand the importance of guest services is outstanding. From the wonderful management of Nat and Nina, to their beautiful staff of whom there are too many to mention and the amazing reception team of, Sira, Bella, B and Daris, there was nothing that they didn’t do to make our stay as perfect as possible. We wish we could name them all. Everyone was wonderful! We had planned a seven day stop over here on Koh Samui as we came to the end of two months travelling in Europe. We chose the Mercure and Koh Samui on a whim as hopefully a restful place to unwind. We couldn’t have asked for more! We only wish we could have stayed longer! The breakfast each morning was a buffet with a chef station for selecting items that could be made on request. The restaurant team at meal times and at breakfast was cognisant of my wife’s gluten intolerance and catered for her with excellent alternatives. They were brilliant! We had not considered a return to Koh Samui before our arrival but all that has now changed. We will indeed return to the Mercure for the pure joy this wonderful hotel provided us during our stay. The beach is one of the cleanest and calmest of the beaches we have visited in Asia. Travel too and from the Samui Central mall or down to Lamai is inexpensive and extremely well serviced by small buses that pass by the hotel at least every five minutes and cost just 100 THB. The rooms are beautifully furnished as you would expect from such a new hotel. The beds very comfortable and the bathroom excellent. A fabulous shower! We stayed in pool access room, 2005. It was a real treat to be able to walk into the beautifully clean and well appointed pool whenever we felt the need for a refresh. Access to the pool and the beach was easy from all rooms with plenty of shady deck chairs available. The three bars, on the beach, in the pool, on the rooftop of the restaurant, offered happy hour times that varied between venues. As you can see from this review, we loved the Mercure on Koh Samui. We are already planning a return visit!

My recent three-night stay at the Renaissance Koh Samui was an enchanting journey, filled with an exceptional level of service that beautifully compensated for the hotel's aging facilities. From the outset, the resort's fusion of Asian and Thai architectural elegance warmly welcomed us, accentuated by the delicate blend of styles and the presence of wood-clad interior columns, real wood floors and furniture. This seamless integration of tradition and geographical context, with brick and tropical roof tiles, created a captivating atmosphere. The lush foliage and well-grown trees embraced the surroundings, creating a vivid backdrop that captured the essence of the beachfront location. While time had etched its marks on the facility, the fusion of architectural styles and natural elements into the design remained a captivating feature. Our overall experience was outstanding, even as we encountered a few unforeseen challenges. On our second night, our beachfront BBQ plans were thwarted by the weather. The staff's quick thinking and adaptability came to the forefront as they seamlessly transitioned the venue to an indoor space. The speed and willingness with which the entire BBQ setup was moved indoors showcased the dedication to providing the best service possible. Moreover, on our third night, the pool bar staff went above and beyond by suggesting a private beachfront dinner to make up for the previous night's interruption. Though this well-intentioned plan was again impacted by the weather, their commitment to ensuring our satisfaction remained unwavering. What truly set this experience apart was the unwavering dedication of the staff. Their warmth and attentiveness overshadowed any inconveniences we faced. The restaurant and bar team, led by K. Woody, Honey, and Ken, consistently exceeded our expectations. Their personalized service made us feel genuinely valued as guests. The culinary journey, particularly the breakfast led by Executive Chef Chef Seng, was a delight. Despite the aging signs of the facilities, the culinary offerings maintained an impeccable standard. The coconut water coffee, and Samui Egg Benedict were exceptional, showcasing Chef Seng's expertise in curating a blend of local and international flavors. In summary, my stay at the Renaissance Koh Samui was a testament to the power of exceptional service to transcend the limitations of aging facilities. The resort's captivating fusion of architectural styles, the embracing of its environment, and the staff's dedication created a memorable retreat. The team's responsiveness, especially during weather-related interruptions, demonstrated their commitment to guest satisfaction. As I reflect on my stay, it is clear that the warmth of hospitality and the genuine care extended by the team are what truly define the Renaissance Koh Samui.

The hotel , like many , is no longer a new Thai troika : a little scratched interior, a mediocre cleaning (blacked balcony door, shower cabin); rather scarce and uniform breakfast (which is not very typical); Problems with hot water (it is just warm, it was only a few times hot). 90% of the guests are tourists from Russia. In addition, the spacious rooms, no deposit, friendly staff, convenient location (to the center in a hurry step of 15-20), a warm pool with clean water. The problem with beach towels, judging by previous reviews, decided : now their sufficient number and they are new (on the labels is the date of issue 01.20). Baik rented near the hotel, left a deposit of 100 dollars. No problem with return. If you are swimming in Chavenge, I would recommend going to the beach not through the nearby hotel, but through the main entrance (out of the hotel and left 300 meters). But on the beach (in February) there were tangible waves and a little pulled into the sea. Therefore, with children, I think, it is better to consider another area. Also, if you don 't want to rent a bike, between the beaches are riding songeo (as I realized, before sunset as public transport, after sunset as taxi), once went to the beach of Boput, gave for two 140 bucks.

This hotel is located out of town on the far end of Mae Nam beach, close to the ferry terminal, it is well presented with a lovely pool over looking a small piece of private beach. The staff are pleasant and helpful and the accommodation is nice with rooms and bungalows available, our bungalow had a fridge, safe, good bed, hot shower and complimentary tea, coffee and water. Breakfast was included and was very good, overall the hotel was good value for money.

We stayed in a King Pool View room which was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Amaya Restaurant was excellent. There were many options for breakfast and the meals were great. Prego Italian Restaurant was exceptional, both in terms of food and service. Couldn't fault any of the Amari staff. Fantastic service and friendly smiles from everyone including Management, Reception, Restaurant staff, Spa staff, Road Crossing staff, Maintenance and Housekeeping. Special mentions go to the lovely hosts Wee and Keng who went out of their way to make us feel welcome and helped us with anything we needed to know. Also Noung who we nicknamed ”the hardest working man in Thailand”. He never stopped as he worked tirelessly in Amaya Restaurant and around the hotel grounds. The resort was a little away from the hustle and bustle but an easy walk into the centre of town. Would recommend Amari to anybody thinking of staying at Chaweng and look forward to returning there in the future.
