De Galleria Hotel

Kota Kinabalu City Center
DeGalleria was ideal for what I needed as a solo traveller. The room was very clean, lovely staff, good airconditioning and excellent wifi. Fantastic location. Only downside was no hot water and no window in the room.
Seaview Bliss Studio By Tropical Elegance

After comparing several sea view apartments in the city center, I chose their romantic sunset sea view apartment. The main reason is that the arrival time of the flight was already midnight, so I arranged an airport pick-up with the landlord, which saved us the trouble of how to drive to the apartment and check in. The host, CK, helped us with all the check-in procedures in advance, and took us directly to the door of the apartment after picking us up from the airport. The next morning, I was woken up by the lively sound of the fishing pier. When I opened the curtains, the large glass balcony faced the pier, and I could see the blue sea while lying on the bed! Facing the setting sun in the evening, it’s like lying on the bed and blowing the air-conditioning to enjoy the top ten golden sunsets in the world! The location of the apartment is very convenient. You can meet all your travel needs within a five-minute walk, especially the must-eat Internet celebrity food, and five minutes to the Fisherman's Wharf Bar Street. It's a pity that we only arranged to stay for one night this time, and we must come again next time!

It was such a nice stay, clean and love the interior design concept, it only that the room wall is not soundproof you can literally hear people voices from another room but overall it’s still such a nice place and worth the money.
D' Borneo Hotel

Kota Kinabalu City Center
The location of the hotel is very convenient for travel. It is next to the Kota Kinabalu Central Market, the handicraft market and the night market. It is a 10-minute walk to Gaya Street and a 20-minute walk to the Jeston Pier. The room facilities are a bit old but clean and tidy. The boss is very nice and helped us to get the Grab car to the airport.
Hotel Kooler Inn

I assumed that I would be out during the daytime during my stay before my trip. I went to find a cheap room to sleep. It is recommended for a clean room to be reasonable. The City Centre Point of the shopping mall is nearby. Gaya Street where night market and market are held on weekends was also a walking distance. There are many restaurants around. The room was clean and enough to sleep. The toilet was also equipped with toilet paper. There is no bathtub and only shower. Others are also written, but the hot water in the shower is wet. Also, there was no toothbrush and beard shaving. We made a room without window in exchange for the price. Considering from the location, even if it was a room with a window, you would not see the sunset sinking in the sea.

Overall okay, but after stay 1 night all of us get sick. Diagnosed influenza, afraid that get the sick from the hotel. And also during midnight 2 times door bell rang but no one outside and sound of door kick from outside. Bad experienced but the accommodation all ok
