Vienna Hotel Kunming Railway Station Branch Reviews

Location is near to train station (north gate). If you take metro, U will be at the (south gate) of the train station, so will need to walk one big round to get to the hotel instead. Almost 20 minutes walk from metro station. My room smelled of smoke, and when I request to change a room, the receptionist mentioned there is no other room available. The air-conditioning is annoying and noisy. It's will turn on and off thru out the night. I do not recommend this hotel at all unless U ok with smoking room and only using it for high speed train the next day.

We just stayed a night and overall we were very happy with the hotel.

New and good location

The location is excellent. It's very close to the train station and not far from the subway station. It's not far from the city's scenic spots and it's basically a taxi ride of 10 yuan. The lady at the front desk helped upgrade the room type and also gave me a breakfast coupon~ The breakfast is pretty good for the price. There is a smart toilet in the room and the shower is also very useful. The toiletries are all in large bottles. The hair dryer is also OK and not difficult to blow.
