Comfort Hotel Kushiro Reviews

Near to Kushiro train station and Kushiro morning market. Free breakfast provided. Lots of local working men staying here. Car park need to pay during check-in, take the pass from the person managing the parking beside it, tell him your are staying at the hotel. Walkable to famous sunset photograph spot.

It was nice to have a full-sized bathroom! It was very nice to have separate washer & dryer units instead of the typical combo units we've encountered!! It was super nice that the woman at the front desk spoke enough English that she was able to explain our reservation & parking!!! The breakfast was a "Comfort Suites" style breakfast but had a decent combo of Japanese & Western choices. The stacked parking for our car was well coordinated. This was a "day of" reservation for us but in a couple ways "beats" the last Airbnb we stayed at in Tokyo.

All good. There are free lockers. They provide simple map. Breakfast juice is great.

The room is clean and tidy, the quilt is a single sheet with a down quilt, and the staff is very, very friendly. There is a Japanese izakaya across the road from the hotel that actually says Japanese Only... although the reason is that the clerk does not speak English and is afraid of misunderstandings when ordering...

The hotel is very close to JR Kushiro Station, just a 10-minute walk (I have long legs). There is snow outside the door. The toilet is traditional Japanese hotel style. I had a good night's sleep. The breakfast is also a traditional Japanese hotel buffet breakfast, which is filling (I am not picky about food).

You can see it when you exit Kushiro Station, across the street, a big sign! Basically all budget hotels are available, except that the rooms are small and the luggage can be opened. Although there are not many types of breakfast, there are meat, eggs, milk, and vegetables (broccoli 🥦), and the taste is not bad! If you only stay for one night, you must choose a hotel close to the station. In winter, the bus to see the lake also departs from the door. You can walk a little further for meals, and there are still many choices!

The transportation is very convenient. You can see the hotel sign when you come out of Kushiro JR Station. It is closer to the bus station and 15 minutes to Nusamai Bridge. There is a Japanese-only Robatayaki restaurant at the door. You can walk a few minutes towards Nusamai Bridge. There is a restaurant on the left that is very warm and friendly to Chinese people. The name is something like Feng. The grilled lamb and beef tongue are very good. The drinks are not expensive, and the grilled oysters are very cheap at 60 for three pieces. It closes at about 9 o'clock.

Because I booked the wrong date, I couldn't stay there, but the hotel stipulated that I couldn't cancel. After many communications, it didn't work, so I wasted this opportunity. I hope friends who want to book a hotel should pay attention to the hotel's rules first to avoid losing money.

I stayed at this hotel 10 years ago. I have forgotten it this time, but the service is still as thoughtful as always. The breakfast is rich. It is not far from the Numai Bridge, a 10-minute walk away, and close to the JR station. The cost performance is quite high. I like it.
