One of the best hotels we have stayed in ever! Absolutely stunning design of hotel from Outside to in, layout, attention to detail, all made from natural materials. Location was great, less than 10 min taxi to Kyoto Station, handy for the rainy days we had and heavy suitcases too! There’s even a shop downstairs selling their own brands, unfortunately we didn’t have the time to check it out, but from trying their teas in the room provided, I can tell their products are great! Staff were polite and very helpful. We were even upgraded to a room with a balcony! What a treat. Will absolutely stay here again! Highly recommend!

Rooms, private baths + public bathing pools, exclusive reception areas, and exclusive elevators all feel pretty good at first. But...but the price is more than 4,000 per night. After checking out, I put my luggage in the hotel. When I came back from shopping, I could only pick up my luggage on the first floor. In the very small space at the elevator door, I could only unpack and put things on the floor (people coming and going squeezed the aisle). This was compared to when I first checked in. Service has simply fallen off a cliff. The two service staff at the front desk just looked at it. There was a sign on the luggage that said ”Vie Di” was on it, but they didn't care anyway. Haha, it's really humorous.

This hotel is incredible ! It’s brand new, rooms are very upmarket, great facilities, quality of food (breakfast needs to be experienced to be believed), gym was excellent but it is the service that is absolutely mind blowing ! We haven’t experienced anything like it decades ! The check in experience was first class, room service first class and the concierge managed to surprise us every single day - running after us with umbrellas, chasing down taxi’s in the rain, big smiles every day and they were all really nice to our 5 Year old daughter (and it was genuine) ! So, we left our passports in the room safe by mistake - they called as soon as they found them (by which time we were in Tokyo) - the hotel manager, Kiyoshi Gomamoto sent one of their staff (Kokoro) to Tokyo hi hand deliver/return our passports to us, she was a lovely lady ! We are so appreciative and will cherish the memories from this hotel ! Thank you Kokoro, Kiyoshi and everyone at Fauchon. Highly recommended !

The photos both here and on booking do not do this hotel justice. It was so much more pretty. I stayed in much more expensive ones in Kyoto and yet I will 100% return here. The rooms are so beautiful, clean, cozy and cute, especially the tatami/japanese style ones. The bathroom was beautiful, with a separate toilet and separate bath and shower (and everything looking brand new). The staff is very kind and the location is simply perfect (and I had a great veiw of Gion from my window).

It is located at the entrance of Buddhist temple street for about 4 minutes walk from Shijo Kawaramachi. In the cheap version of the Washington Hotel, there is no public bathhouse that cuts the service to the edge and is popular in business hotels. The room size, facilities, etc. are standard for business hotels. Bedding, toothbrushes and razors are received at the front desk. However, the quality of razors was bad and the skin was cut. The hotel is very clean and is the wisest choice for a trip to Tokyo. The bathroom is small but wet and dry partitions, the full body massage shower is very comfortable, can relieve the fatigue of a day of storms. The location is unique. The suite area is larger than the indicated 67 square meters, and it is super comfortable.

A taxi is required for a big cherry blossom. It's really far to walk. It took 1h5min, including the waiting time for the return bus, to leave my luggage at the inn and make a round trip from Kyoto Station to pick up this in the evening. The return bus was so crowded that I often put it on. After all, it is safer along the subway and Hankyu lines. There is no price, no good or no bad. Under this condition, it is not expensive considering the market price in Kyoto, but there is no sense of profit.

I like the atmosphere the most around It's chill, suitable for chilling people. It's very love. Sit by the water and rest. Kyoto is the most chill. Check out is too fast 10.00 o'clock. I got this property information from XiaoHongShu. Very impressive with the hot spring, sunset and sunrise activities. So we book and stay! We checked in around 3.30pm and go for the evening cocktail with the gorgeous views. Dinner and then enjoy ours night spring. And sunrise spring. Honestly this is the best ever experience. We were very lucky to stay at this hotel opposite the Ryan coffee shop and can use the bar here every day because it was really great. The hotel staff is super friendly and very welcoming, there are very good different kinds of craft beer to choose from in the bar, some of them are really good, although most of the snacks at night are small, but the taste is very good, especially my favorite, Nan quite fried chicken.
