Nice room and shower. The bar area is only open Thursday - Saturday which was disappointing as the hostel lacked atmosphere and there were no social activities (other than salsa dancing a couple of times a week). Room was noisy but maybe just as it was at the front.

No decent amenities in the private rooms, no hairdryer and the heater was barely doing anything for the room.
I booked a proper suite and got a family room. No help whatsoever from Selina to fix the booking from Trip. I think for the price you can have a better room elsewhere.
Photo is one of their meat options in the main hostel Cafe.

The staff are first-rate, polite, kind and helpful. The room is clean, the hot water flow is large, the Wi-Fi speed is good, and the location is good. Various travel packages are provided. There are both youth hostels and single private rooms. The atmosphere in the lobby is very good. The kitchen equipment is a bit outdated, but You can still cook.

Good quality and low price, great value for money, clean and sanitary.
It is recommended for backpackers to choose, suitable for short trips, travel, and hobbyists. The price is really cheap, recommended

The worst Selina experience so far. I would have never expected: - lack of cleaning in the rooms - lack of tourist knowledge from the staff ( I was sent to th wrong bus terminal) - lack of customer service: 30-40' waiting for a breakfast, >40' for a dinner in which most of the menu was not available No allergies were considered, which were previously communicated, in the breakfast boxes, which were prepared, which in reality were cancelled the evening before, cause we could have had a standard breakfast - difficulties in getting the phone charged as the plugs didn't work

The place is near to the center and they have amazing food. I didn't get a straw with my ice latte drink, they charged me for everything, keys and towel. The coworking space were dirty and dusty. Everything is pricey.

The pictures were a little off from the room we got, but overall we had a nice stay here. We got in around 4:30am, but check in was quick and easy. We weren't bothered by noise at all as some of the other reviews have stated, although we were on the 4th floor so maybe that made a difference. No heat or cooling that we could find, but with the window open we didn't really need it. The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean. Food in the restaurant was actually really good. Overall, I'd stay here again as it was perfectly adequate, especially given the great location and reasonable price.

On the first night I was in a 4 bed dorm and I was woken up at 4 am by the receptionist and a security guard. They got me out of bed and made me show my room key and guest card, as apparently in their system the room should be empty. Well, I was in the right room and I was taken out of bed without any need, apparently the receptionist registered me on room 307 and gave me the keys of 407. It was very unpleasant and I had a terrible sleep after that. I wonder why they couldn't wait until later to settle the matter. So I went to the reception to negotiate some kind of compensation for the unpleasant situation they had put me through, I suggested a complimentary breakfast (it costs about U$4.50). But they basically replied that they didn't care about the situation and that I could complain wherever I wanted. Selina is not a cheap hostel, so you're expected to at least be treated well, which was not the case. Before this happened, I would easily give it five stars, as it is comfortable, safe, clean. But the way they treated me wasn't fair, they treated me like I was doing something wrong, when in fact it was their mistake. Second night the private room smelled cigarette, I also let reception know but nothing was made. There were some dishes from a previous guest at the door and they stayed there until my check out. Both nights were very noisy. During check out I had to request the refund of the 35bs key deposit they charged me when checking in, but they said it wasn't registered on the system (again another "system" mistake), so I had to insist I paid, very uncomfortable situation once more. It seems Selina La Paz needs to improve its management. The whole situation will definitely make me think twice about staying at another Selina.

I stayed with Selina on and off for 3 weeks. The hostel is very friendly and helpful with coordinating day excursions. I loved their smoothie bowl and coffee in the mornings, and had a variety of healthy options at the restaurant when in need of a snack. Beds were clean with divider blinds that made for a private hostel sleep. Thank you Selina La Paz!

Nice place. The staff is great. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. The restaurant has some great edibles. I like these places bust because of the chill vibe. No five stars...stop the smoking on the couches outside so we can all enjoy the sofas and you get the other star.

First, the staff here is amazing. They went out of their way to help us out, book taxis, airport rides, tours, recommend restaurants, etc. The rooms are clean, wifi is strong, restaurant is great, and location is close to the places you want to visit. Highly recommend!

Very welcoming and clean, the cafe/reception bit was nice and cosy, the breakfast was brilliant. We had been on a trip and arrived at La Paz at 6am and they let us use a shower and chill in the cafe until it opened for breakfast. They also arranged taxis to/from the airport and bus station. 100% would stay here again.
Response from Property: Hello Malpa. It was a pleasure having you at the hotel. We hope to have you again very soon. Thank you very much! See you soon

Recently stayed here for the first time and it is so far my favorite hostel in South America. Staff was great, spoke English, check in process was easy and quick, hot water, comfy beds, nice aesthetic, gave good recommendations, free luggage storage. They were able to call a cab for my friend and I when needed. They have a patio out front that was nice to just sit and hang out at. There is also a security guard 24/7. We had someone from outside the hostel approach us and the guard was on it within seconds! Super safe and super nice place. Wondered the neighborhood and never felt unsafe, even after dark. Did the bouldering offered by the hotel and had a blast!
