The house is amazing, its in the process of being upgraded, special features like the Rennie Mackintosh window. Great views and great hostess.

Absolutely fantastic room and such a lovely welcoming note with some goodies

This is an unstaffed hotel where you pick up keys from a lock box in the foyer. It is a very large building which obviously was a more palatial location in previous years. However it’s run like an Airbnb so don’t expect too much. Rooms are nice but have paper thin walls so you hear everything in adjacent rooms.

My partner and I stayed for two nights while exploring the central Highland and loved it! The property owner was very welcoming and gave us some historical background of the building which is really interesting. The hotel is situated up a hill which results in stunning glen views from the rooms and grounds. When exploring the grounds you may also stumble across ducks, hens and even peacocks, adding to the uniqueness of the property. The communal kitchen is well equipped, and again offers lovely views. There is also a pool table, swingset and lounge area that guests can use during the day. In addition to this hotels interesting history and picturesque views we also found it to be very peaceful.

Lovely stay

Very tired and in need of modernisation. Was probably a beautiful place at one time. View is amazing, location is amazing and staff very nice.
