a nice hotel that i will recommend for Lake Louise. great service from the receptionists and the hotel provide 24 hours hot coffee and tea. Breakfast selection is very good as well.

Nice place to stay.

Water in the sower was leaking to the room. Carpet was wet. Front desk came and checked right away and gave us couple towels. No room change was offered. Next day the room smelled really bad because the water was soaking on the carpet

Convenient location, receptionist was very friendly and helpful. There is also a steambath and spa which was nice after a long day at Lake Louise. Would be better if there is a proper shower room at spa. Recommended for short stay.

Nice stay! Very close to visitor and groceries in 5 mins walk. Reception was great. Space enough for 4 people. Amenities such as shampoo and body soap in the room was okay.

Great location, nothing much to complain about. Would be better if family rooms came with 2 bathrooms. 2 of the lights fitting were not working/spoilt but it didn't affect us much. Counter staff were exceptional

Nice place and convenient location for the small Lake Louise village and for skiing Lake Louise since it’s a short shuttle away. This is an older lodge that has been nicely renovated in the main building. I believe they will renovate the rest as well. Breakfast is included but don’t expect too much.

Very homie and friendly place. Front desk is super helpful, breakfast is good, they also provide water/coffee and cookie at check in hall. Super nice place to stay in.

I've visited this hotel a few times throughout the years and although the hotel looks a bit tired outside I was pleasantly surprised on the many improvements starting with a nice breakfast to start the day, nice modern rooms and showers (mine was on the main building), comfy bed. Hotel also they provide a few items in the room (hand warmers, trail mix snack, coco, coffee, etc.) Staff was attentive and professional. This hotel is in a good spot if you're planning to hit the ski hill, lake Louise, or the multiple trails in the area.

Everything is good except that there is no elevator to access to higher floor. Not convenient to carry luggage to the room. Room is new & spacious. Well-designed & functional with many hangers in bathroom. There is a coffee machine which is good. Near to restaurants. There is a Japanese bento & bubble tea shop in the small town centre nearby. Easy to drive to ski resort park & ride meeting point for bus shuttle.

Having spent some 4 weeks touring through Alberta and the Rockies, and staying in many hotels and lodges, can now claim to have found a jewel in Lake Louise. Mountaineer Lodge is ideally located for hiking to the louise lake, just off the highway and next to a very convenient mall. Parking is free. Reception was first class, friendly and helpful. Had a first floor apartment (2 large double beds) The apartment decor is first class, looks newly decorated, well lit and large. Everything needed is available, and the breakfast is included in the price. Cost of the apartment was 1/3 of Banff prices, quality first class and could not find any faults with our entire stay. Only wish that we could stay longer, but will most certainly be staying again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

It was a good accomodations! Was there for a night, wish can stay there for more night! Breakfast was awesome! Everything is clean, and even have a microwave in the room!! Ground staff is friendly! All the basic amenities are met and the room is spacious 👍🏻👍🏻
