Service was really good. On arrival we were told to have an upgraded room with a view of the Lancaster castle. Staff were very friendly. Location was absolutely central and convenient for shopping, restaurants and the train station.

When I checked in, I found that the safety lock had no chain, and there were uncleaned fructose bags on the table and bedside table. It was obvious that the hotel had been checked in without cleaning. Since I was too sleepy after ten o'clock in the evening, I reluctantly accepted and stayed. Royal Kings Arms Hotel in Lancaster is a wonderful little gem. Our second visit to this hotel and really love the place, beds are really comfortable, rooms are nice , staff are efficient and the food is fantastic. We returned to Lancaster and without hesitation returned to this central hotel and will again. I recommend the Royal Kings Arms in Lancaster for everything and will be back again soon. Thank you for a lovely two night break.

Stayed here for our sons 23rd birthday as we came up from Derbyshire. Friendly receptionist. We decided to have the evening meal which we all enjoyed very much. Service from Yasmina was prompt and courteous. We were happy with the service Yasmina provided and wanted to leave a gratuity. She declined so we left the tip after she took the payment. Yasmina is a credit to the hotel. Very comfy room and great shower . Clean and cosy.
