Coconut Beach Villa Langkawi Reviews

I booked 3 rooms for 2 nights, including a garden villa, a beach villa, and a pool villa. I booked the rooms because they had private beaches. After checking in, I found that the bathrooms of the garden and beach villas were semi-outdoor, which might be acceptable to foreigners who admire nature, but unacceptable to the introverted Chinese. The equipment in all the rooms was not as good as in the photos, and was at the level of a guesthouse in the 1970s and 1980s. Since it was very close to the airport, we had to endure the huge noise when the planes flew low. The pool villa was right by the road, isolated from the outside world by an ordinary door lock and curtains, and it felt like living outdoors. The beach villa was very dimly lit, and the spider webs in the corners made people feel like they were playing an escape room. A flying insect when we checked in, and the yellow sheets in all the rooms made us cancel the reservation immediately (we didn't actually check in), and grab another hotel again. After 4 days of negotiations with Ctrip and the hotel, the hotel refused to cancel the reservation and asked us to bear all the expenses ourselves. Ctrip refunded us 1 day's fee for the three rooms. So Ctrip.com said that the hotel will be newly opened in 2023, which needs to be verified. I can say responsibly that it is definitely not a newly opened hotel. Since I escaped very quickly, I don't know how the breakfast and the beach are. The only reason I scored 3 stars is for the staff and the dog in the hotel lobby, which made me feel more friendly and safe.
