Fairfield Inn & Suites Las Vegas Stadium Area

I like staying at Fairfield Inns around the country as they are usually newer and have a better set up for my work/play. However, this place must be THE original Fairfield Inn when the brand started in the late 1980's. To say it needs a facelift for the rooms is an understatement. Yes, it looks pretty on the outside but you'll step back in time (like 40 years) once you get in the room. Right from the start I had a problem here as the front desk tried to charge me $15/night to park my car. This is very far from the strip and is an industrial area so there is no need for a fee. She told me ”it's due to the new football stadium next door” and could not waive it even at my Marriott status level (Gold). I then informed here there was a game the day before (Sunday) and no games were happening during my Monday - Thursday stay. When she didn't back down I told her to cancel my reservation and I would go look elsewhere. Only then did she waive the fee. Nice way to start the visit. Aside from the less than happy front desk workers who all seemed to be training, my room had some of the most wrinkled sheets/pillows I've ever seen. Thankfully I brought my own pillow. The room felt dirty, old and way beyond it's time.

My daughters dance team stayed at this hotel for a competition. This hotel fit all of our needs, from the delicious breakfast each morning to the Warm in courteous staff. The room is lovely. The pool is heated!!!!! The location is great!!!! About 15 minutes from the ***** and there is a nearby grocery store, a mall, and anything you need is within a 5-10 minute walk. One of the best parts of my visit was Devon! Devon works at the front desk and as soon as I entered the lobby, I was greeted with a warm welcome. Devon was so nice and professional. Any question I had, Devon was able to answer and he was so helpful for my visit. What a gem! If I ever visit Vegas again. I will definitely stay here!!!!

This should have been a 4 or 5 star review since I was upgraded and the room was in OK shape... until I used the water. The sink basically didn't have hot water and for the shower, I had to the have the dial turned all the way to hot to get a decent temperature for the shower. For the sink, even letting the water run while I was brushing my teeth in the morning, I still had cold water. I did complain at the front desk and they sent someone up. Here checked the sink water with a thermometer and said that I need to let the water run. Ummm I did that. He then eventually said it was starting to warm up. I checked it and it wasn't even luke warm. He then left and said that the front desk would call me. They never did. Very disappointed. I stay at a lot of Marriot properties (Titanium elite member) including lots of Fairfield Inns. Very disappointed in this one.
