We booked the superior room on the manor side with the intention of having a larger room with view of the garden. We got the garden view but the room was incredibly small and under the roof so it heated up really badly. The pictures on the website showed much larger rooms and no signs of slanted roofs anywhere. The doors, walls and floors were very thin and we could hear every spoken word and got woken up by slammed doors or loud conversations. the windows was very small so the view wasn't really big as well. There is no fridge in the room and basically no space to put baggage, clothes or belongings anywhere. The bathroom was very small and didnt offer any place to properly hangdry the towels. The WiFi, bed and TV were great though. Most of the staff spoke english and all of them were happy to help with any questions.
The breakfast was a bit messy, especially after 9AM because the buffet is very small and there are a lot of people.
The bar and restaurant are very expensive but drinks take a lot do get brought out and the food tasted bland.
The new pool was always cleaned thoroughly and was very nice. Enough space to lay in the sun after swimming.
All in all not a 4 star hotel experience but not a bad stay overall.

Nous avons passé 5 jours dans cet établissement, tout d'abord le personnel à l'accueil est très souriant et à l'écoute, nous étions chambres 404 , t lumineuse et agréable, nous avons profité de la restauration sur place les menus sont très bon, le personnel est très serviable , petit déjeuner copieux

La bâtisse est merveilleuse et vous transporte dans le temps. La décoration est très jolie. La literie est très confortable. Le personnel est fabuleux Cependant, si vous êtes sur les chambres vues sur le parking vous quitterez sur quelques petits détails, les toilettes indépendantes très petites où on comprend pas vraiment l'utilité de les faire indépendantes alors qu'il suffirait de casser la cloison pour les lits à la salle de bain rendant plus d'espace. La baignoire de nos jours c'est un peu le passé. Une douche à l'italienne serait merveilleuse.

Tout à été parfait, les chambres ( nous étions dans une chambre côté manoir), le restaurant, le petit déjeuner ( très grand choix) le personnel, l’emplacement. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir .

Chambre qui n'a rien de "superieure", à part d'être au dessus du bar donc très bruyante, de disposer d'une salle de bain minimaliste avec options "chercher où poser votre trousse" ou "préserver la papier wc" des éclaboussures lorsque vous vous lavez les mains, et de disposer d'une hauteur sous plafond surement supérieure à la longueur de la pièce puisqu'il n'est pas possible de faire le tour de lit sans se contortionner ; n'imaginez pas pouvoir croiser votre partenaire autrement que sous la couette.
