Comfort Inn Lees Summit - Hwy 50 & Hwy 291

The fan in the bathroom did not work. Cheap with the shampoo, conditioner & lotion - one tiny bottle each for a 2 queen bed room. Property looked run down outside. Pool wasn’t ready when we got there & needs repair. No fruit at breakfast. Staff was no where to be seen for check-in. Had to look for them! Staff seemed disinterested & bored. If you just want a place to sleep it works.

This hotel room was filthy. The pictures online make it look clean. Filthy and dark, and the carpet was so worn in one area that if you stepped there carpet nails would poke your feet. We didn't have a lot of options as I think it must have been graduation weekend in Lee's Summit, so we stayed here. Overpriced for the condition of the room - with tax it was $150 for one night. We had driven 14 hours and I was too tired to ask for a different room, otherwise I would have left and demanded a refund.

This property deserves a 0 rating. I booked through a 3rd party and have attempted to get a refund for the past month. I checked in and out the same day due to safety hazards in a handicap room. I have emailed the general manager numerous times, I have contacted the front desk, I have contacted choice hotel international. I have been lied to numerous times. I have notes with dates of calls and what I was told. The hotel did not charge my card since I checked in and out the same day and there were no fees charged, however the 3rd party when booking paid the hotel up front. In order for the 3rd party to reimburse me they asked for a letter signed by the hotel stating I checked in and out the same day due to safety hazards. We were in a handicap room and when my elderly handicap mother walked into the bathroom she stepped on the nail tack ***** that holds the carpet down between the carpet in room and tile in bathroom. This nail tack ***** is totally exposed. I have stated the need for a letter in phone calls and emails and there must be some type of barrier whether language or something bc they simply respond stating they did not charge my card. They also state they go in this room daily and rent it daily. Well shame on them for renting this room with exposed nails. My mother had to get a tetanus shot due to this exposure. They have told me owner lives out of country, I have been told no supervisor there, he doesnt come in till 1pm, they will call when they get in. NO CALL. NO response to numerous emails. I have been told supervisor is out of state. Different story every time I call. I just want a refund we never stayed and they should not be renting this room in this condition. The front desk gentleman Daniel came to see the room with me as I have pictures and he states oh must be from wheelchairs rolling over it. yes but that doesn't mean this should not be fixed. On Nov 13th It will make one month I am still fighting for refund. POOR COMMUNICATION! DONT STAY HERE

The staff was so sweet but had a hard time understanding English. The pool was so cold even though it was 100 degrees out and promoted a hot tub which was boarded up. The breakfast lady was sleeping at one of the tables and a young boy was restocking.

For the price this hotel was very nice. The rooms are big and hotel is nicely decorated. The breakfast could add a little more but was better than others. Nice location. At end of a Nice looking neighborhood. Group travel. Very glad we stayed here rather than Quality Inn.

Very clean and comfortable … front desk staff was polite and professional

First room was disgusting. Manger quickly moved us to another room which was much cleaner. However, the hot water didn't ever get hot for the shower.

I left my cc and DL at front desk when I checked in , they never notified me , I realized 2 days later I left it at hotel , I called multiple times over several days , they refused to look or call back, I finally had to file police report, the cop got it back , I don't know what they planned on doing with my identity, but it did not involve giving me back my credit card and drivers lic . What horrible people , you are warned on what kind of people they are

Room was fine, but the rest of the hotel was dirty and poorly put together. The hallways were in serious need of vacuuming. The tables at breakfast were dirty and there was a random pipe running out of the wall by the plate pick up. The place just felt like the bare minimum effort was put in to cleanliness and appearance:
