The hotel is very cozy, and the entire hotel has a very comfortable fragrance, which is very healing. The location is also very good. We drove there by ourselves. The hotel is less than 5 minutes from the center of Leura Town and more than 10 minutes from the scenic world in Blue Mountain Park. The only drawback is that there seems to be no hair dryer. The bathroom is a bit small and may be a bit crowded for two people, but the bathroom has good water and is very comfortable. The hotel staff are also very enthusiastic and serious. There is a reception desk with a sense of ceremony at the front desk. They gave us the keys and we felt that this store respects its guests. The best thing is the small sofa in the public area. It is very comfortable to lie down on the small sofa and play with your mobile phone at night.

We booked this hotel for two nights stay in July 2024 and got confirmation email from them, even asking if we would like to book spa treatments ahead of visit. However, the place was closed when we got there. Luckily, we managed to get another booking or we would have travelled to Blue Mountains for nothing.

Craig, the owner cannot be trusted. I had organised a retreat and in my contract it says that I can cancel up until two weeks prior and still receive my deposit back. I cancelled the retreat with over a month’s notice due to lack of sales and complete lies from craig that he would help me promote the retreat. Craig refuses to respond to any communication. He owes me over $3000. This was two months ago and he ignores all communication. Look at google reviews as well. So dodgy!

If you are visiting the Blue Mountains this is an outstanding small bistro hotel. Everything from the welcome , the spacious room with a very comfortable bed , great shower to the lovely living room was outstanding . We loved staying with Craig and his wife . The location is charming . The home made muesli for breakfast and selection of fruit was simply delicious . This is a location not to be missed

I was looking forward to attend a retreat at Brightlands with my friend, however the retreat got cancelled by Brightlands just four days before the event without any serious reason given! It's been almost two months now, and I was even more dishartened to hear that our yoga teacher still didn't get her money back and the lack of communication from the owner! It was a full pre-payment and the yoga teacher incurred significant financial losses as a result. I live in Queensland and had my flights booked, leave and care for my kids organised in advance and was looking forward to the retreat. I'm very confused by Brigtland's actions, especially towards loyal and regular clients like our yoga teacher. It's disheartening not to return someone else's hard-earned money. I really hope it gets sorted soon!

Staff were nice, bed was comfortable and fire was lovely but everything else was very underwhelming for $360 per night. No effort to make room or bathroom look nice or special, holes in curtains and floor. Dirty mirror and average breakfast. The property has so much potential but clearly zero investment in the garden. Weeds everywhere. Very run down.

What a gorgeous place to stay. It is so tranquil, beautifully decorated plus has the most divine Spa. Breakfast is a delight, Saturday night dinner was divine. The rooms are huge, so relaxing and comfortable. Spa treatments use a natural Leura developed cosmetic range called iKou which is exquisite

This hidden gem ,full of character, incredible service. So many little details. Ikou teas, home made bliss balls. Nespresso coffee, fruit , all available at any time of the day. Breakfast was fresh , beautiful homemade granola ❤️complimentary yoga, sound therapy. A beautiful spa with many options including a flotation tank 🙏Super comfy beds,so warm and welcoming ! The retreat holds space for many wanting utter relaxation. Leura a 20 minute walk. Loved this place! Highly recommend.

We had the most wonderful time! Relaxing vibes, friendly service, elegantly restored nunnery, beautiful surrounds, incredible food, luxurious treatments. This place feels like a warm hug when you deserve it. We will be back
