This quaint Tibetan-style hotel is located just inside Barkhor Street. It is very convenient to the Jokhang Temple and the Potala Palace. There are also many delicious shops nearby. The proprietress is very welcoming. I originally booked another hotel, but because it couldn't accommodate people from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, I changed to this Babao Hotel, and I was very satisfied with the result.

A very well-decorated hotel with a restaurant on the top floor and an observation deck where you can see the Potala Palace and antique Lhasa folk houses. The hotel is located in an alley very close to the Jokhang Temple and is the most distinctive Lhasa city.

When I came to Tibet, I stayed in a Tibetan-style hotel. The decoration of the hotel was very Tibetan-style. The room and the bathroom inside were very clean and tidy. You can see the day and night view of the Potala Palace and the sunrise from the rooftop on the fifth floor. The breakfast on the fifth floor was very nice. , the food is simple but delicious. The reception staff are very polite and speak fluent Mandarin and English. The staff help solve various problems in Tibet, including taking a day tour, taking a taxi, transportation, shopping, luggage storage, moving luggage, etc.

There is a washing machine with laundry detergent on the first floor, and clothes can be dried on the fifth floor, which is very useful for me who has a pile of dirty clothes after returning from Mount Everest. There is a small shop opposite the hotel, and the nearby restaurant can see the Potala Palace, and the food tastes good. It is close to the Jokhang Temple, and it is also convenient to go to the bus station and Ganden Monastery (it’s a bit dark when you go out in the alley early in the morning, just use your mobile phone to light it up, it’s safe). Recommended to stay.

When I evaluate a hotel, I will only base it on its price. Babao is extremely cost-effective. The person in charge is super responsible. The location is also very convenient. Just a few dozen meters away is Baguo Street, or there are many local teahouses on the road out of Jiangsu.

Walking deeper into the alley is the Jokhang Temple, which is very close.

Being able to take a comfortable hot bath is what I pursue! Many other larger hotels nearby cannot do this! The sound insulation is not good. Several Tibetans live on this floor. There are children shouting every night, and there is a ******* couple chatting at 4 am. It is super loud and I can't sleep at all. Environment: It is right inside Barkhor Street, with a good location! You can also directly see the Potala Palace and the nearby blocks in all directions from the roof, which is full of life.
