Good service, except for a problem with booking the taxi for the return (at the reception they forgot to book the taxi, even though we requested it at 10 in the morning for 4.45 in the afternoon). For the rest, beautiful structure, very well kept, good and varied food (excellent possibility to choose between the various restaurants where to eat), a little small beach, but the lawn behind it with all the plants providing shade is the best.

Without a doubt the Daphnila Bay Resort , Corfu, is one of the loveliest hotels that we have stayed at. The staff were all absolutely wonderful, so friendly and attentive and the hotel is set in a beautifully tranquil nature setting with incredible views. We were greeted with a delicious welcome drink and smiles all round , this sense of hospitality was echoed for the entire stay. On day two of our visit we were offered a complimentary upgrade to a stunning sea view apartment with thanks to Kristina, it honestly was beautiful. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for the staff at this wonderful resort . Despite residency being at full capacity of 700 guests, this was not evident at all. Food was plenty and constantly replenished and all areas of the grounds felt spacious and comfortable. Pedros welcomed us at each meal, making us feel as though we were the only guests there ! Elsa's stunning smile was a joy to see at dinner time , service was truly attentive at all times . The warmth and care of Kristina at the front desk was unique , she ensured that we were comfortable and content throughout our entire stay , from start to finish. Spiros and his team at poolside were with smiles and positivity , and again attentive to our needs. On day 4, before returning home, we booked two ancient spirit elixir massages with the lovely Eleni. She was so lovely and an incredible practitioner, a credit to the wonderful hotel team ! We will most certainly return to the lovely Daphnila Bay resort again, the unbelievably beautiful views , the kind and attentive staff, delicious food and overall wonderful holiday experience was an unforgettable one. Das Hotel ist wunderbar gelegen und vom Flughafen in circa einer halben Stunde erreichbar. Ein Bus (ÖPNV) fährt für günstige 1,60€ bis nach Korfu rein.
Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, es gibt einen großen Pool und einen schönen Strandabschnitt. Letzter bietet viel Schatten weil man unter Palmen und Olivenbäumen liegen kann.
An einigen Stellen ist die Anlage und die Zimmer ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, aber das Personal und der Service ist extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das wiegt so positiv, dass ein hervorragender Gesamteindruck bleibt.
Kulinarisch ist man bestens versorgt, reichhaltige Buffets zu den Hauptmahlzeiten werden ergänzt durch Snacks, Eis, Süßes… Besonders zu empfehlen sind die a la carte Restaurants (Reservierung erforderlich), ein Highlight ist das Abendessen im Danilia Village.
Das Hotel ist sehr kinderfreundlich, viele Familien mit kleinen Kindern verbringen ihren Urlaub hier. Für meinen Geschmack waren es zu viele Kleinkinder.

Our stay was overall really good and probably it would deserve closer to 4.5 stars
Pros:
- Very nice hotel, with great views. Our bungalow room (Paradiso limited sea view) was charming, spacious and the sea view was great. The balcony was a bit small however.
- The food was good for buffet standards and there was good variety, particularly at dinner time. The kids also loved the gelaterie by the beach.
- Most of the staff were friendly.
- The private beach is pretty enough and clean plus the water is shallow and feels safe for young kids. There's not much sand to play though.
- The ability to go to the Imperial and the Ava Palace on a boat and use their pool.
Cons:
- The wasps. There are A LOT of them and at times it made it really uncomfortable. On two occasions we had 5 wasps hovering over our dishes while having dinner. Once three wasps spent 10 minutes walking on my plate and ended up drowning in the sauce.
- The swimming pool is quite small given the number of guests and there are nowhere nearly enough loungers so getting them is very difficult. They also ran out of towels twice.
- The bar in the swimming pool area would benefit from some shaded areas.
- While cleanliness was overall good, they never moped the floor of our room (the cleaner didn't even have a mop) plus we got a couple of dirty bath towels twice during our stay.
- The a la carte (except Gattopardo) were a bit disappointing.
- The hotel is quite secluded making walking to other places challenging.

The holiday experience was fantastic from start to finish. The airport transfer was quick and easy and so was check in. We checked in around 1pm and room was already ready. The room was perfect, with a great view. We had an issue with the TV and this was quickly sorted out. We had no further issues for the whole week we were there. The food and service was faultless and was friendly and professional. The quality of every meal we had all week was of high quality and was really looking forward to every meal. We had meals in 4 of the restaurants and all were good. All the bars we used were brilliant and service was good. The environment of the hotel was amazing. Lovely village feel and the gardens and beach were beautiful. We spent most days by the beach but one day by the pool and one in corfu town which we caught a bus from the end of the road from the hotel from(5 minutes walk), which was a 20mins bus ride away. The only improvement would be better evening entertainment which was basic but we were out of season. All the staff were a credit to the hotel . We would definitely come back to this hotel when in corfu again. Thank you for our stay.

Lovely hotel- nice room ( garden view main hotel) - delicious food ( vegan/ vegetarian options) - pool not huge could become crowded easily in high season. However there is nice calm water at the beach- almost lake like in appearance during stay and I was still able to manage a swim - not too cold- there is also beautiful lush greenery to relax in next to beach. Definitely a slight trek to the beach and back to Hotel but a great way to burn off some calories! Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this Hotel.

This was booked via easyjet holidays fairly last minute. I did not realise at time of booking that it was the English October week. This meant there were a lot of children enjoying themselves and having fun which is exactly what parents want. The pool is fairly small and in October the sun is away from there by the afternoon. Most people head to the beach which although narrow there are plenty of Sun beds.There are also lush greenery. There is a beach bar and buffet lunch restaurant and a place for ice cream and freshly made crepes there also. The water is very calm and inflatables were being used without issue. Yes there is a slight trek back up to the Hotel but I have been in other Hotels where it is more of a hike than this one. I didn’t find the room dated at all - in fact it added character to the room. I also had a bath ( I was a garden view in the hotel) which was a real bonus. The food is fantastic. I am a vegetarian and the choice of fresh salad was a delight. As others have reported breakfast was excellent. Ifelt it added character to room

Con: Die überwiegende Mehrheit der Gäste bestand während unseres Aufenthaltes aus Familien mit kleinen Kindern/Babys die den ganzen Tag über schrien und herumtobten und mit ihren Fingern im Buffetessen waren. Dies ist eindeutig ein Kinder/Familienhotel - was so jedoch leider nicht auf der Hotelwebsite kommuniziert wird. Als Erwachsener hier zu entspannen war aufgrund der dauerhaften Lärmkulisse im Restaurant, am Stand oder am Pool nicht möglich. Das Hotel und die Anlage sind in die Jahre gekommen und entsprechen eher 3 als 4,5 Sternen. Auch wenn die Anlage sauber war - es bröckeln an allen Ecken und Enden der Putz und die Farbe. Einige Gäste entsprachen eher dem Niveau eines 2 Sterne Hotels - Badekleidung und Shorts zum Abendessen, Finger im Buffetessen und Füße auf den Stühlen gehörten hier zum guten Ton (für das Benehmen der Gäste kann natürlich das Hotel nichts). Pro: Der Strand des Hotels ist ausgesprochen schön, mit klarem Wasser und in einer sehr schönen Bucht gelegen. Sehr nettes und extrem aufmerksames Personal am Strand, in den Restaurants und am Empfang, das um die Gäste bemüht ist - 5 Sterne Service. Die Bungalows sind sehr groß und modern eingerichtet. Am Buffet gibt es auch regionale Speisen und eine abwechslungsreiche Auswahl. Die Lage des Hotels in der Mitte der Insel und in der Nähe der Hauptstadt ist der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Tagesausflüge mit dem Auto. Fazit: Leider entspricht das Hotel nicht dem Niveau, das man sonst von Grecotel LUXME gewöhnt ist. Alles in allem eher ein 3 Sternehotel für Familien, nicht für einen ruhigen Entspannungsurlaub geeignet und definitiv auch kein Luxuserlebnis. Wir würden aufgrund unserer Erfahrung leider kein zweites Mal hierherkommen.
