The Ivens Hotel was home to the first luxury warehouse in the city in the XIX century as well as of the first Portuguese public. The iconic building is in every way representative of the XIX century a period which has marked the spirit and culture of Lisbon. The hotel has 87 unique and comfortable rooms of which ten are spacious suites including two signature top floor suites. The entrance was mapped to resemble the journey of Ivens and Capelo, two of greatest Portuguese explorers to unveil Africa back on the XIX century. Very good hotel, good location, a few minutes walk from the Bica and Justa elevator.
The hotel is beautifully decorated, full of Lisbon style, with details everywhere. The breakfast is delicious and the service attitude is great.
I highly recommend you to experience it.

The room has enough space and is very hygienic. You can open the balcony door but cannot go out. The service is also good, but the location is not very convenient. At this price, there should be more and better options. I probably won't stay here again next time.
