Camera pulitissima, piscina e spa molto gradevoli e il personale sempre molto disponibile. Ho conosciuto di persona il direttore Michele Rinaldini che si è mostrato molto perspicace, dinamico e gentile nell'accompagnarci al ristorante per l'ottima cena (sono l'omonimo che cercava "Il Grotto"). Non sono da 5 punti facili ma credo che siano meritatissimi. Forse l'unico aspetto da migliorare (a favore di chi non è abituato) sono le informazioni che riguardano gli ascensori dislocate nei lift e nei corridoi. Non tutti gli ascensori portano a tutti i piani dell'albergo, quindi ci si disorienta un po', ma è anche vero che la piantina dell'hotel è presente sulla brochure in camera. Penso che tornerò a 'perdermi' nei corridoi del Belvedere (molto belli i quadri e i vari tocchi artistici disseminati dell'edificio).

gelegen über dem See. Schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer mit Seeblick. Man spürt die große Vergangenheit des Hotels, was in die Gegenwart hinübergerettet wurde. Sehr gutes Frühstück im wunderbaren Salon. Leider haben wir das Abendessen versäumt. Gerne wieder.

Das Hotel Belvedere in Locarno hat uns rundum überzeugt! Das moderne 4-Sterne-Hotel liegt wunderschön an den Hügeln von Locarno, auf halbem Weg zum Kloster Madonna del Sasso. Besonders praktisch: Direkt vor dem Hotel befindet sich eine Haltestelle der Standseilbahn (Tickets gibt es vergünstigt an der Rezeption) sowie eine Bushaltestelle. Wer mit dem Auto anreist, kann einen kostenpflichtigen Parkplatz dazubuchen. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und sauber, mit einem traumhaften Blick auf den See und die Berge – genau das, was man sich von einem Aufenthalt im Tessin wünscht! Das Frühstücksbüffet ist riesig und bietet alles, was das Herz begehrt. Für einen entspannten Start in den Tag ideal! Der Spa-Bereich ist zwar eher klein, aber für eine kurze Entspannung völlig ausreichend. Das Hotelrestaurant fanden wir im Verhältnis zu den gebotenen Speisen etwas zu teuer, aber die Bar war bestens ausgestattet und das Personal dort – wie auch im Rest des Hotels – super nett und zuvorkommend. Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt mit freundlichem und hilfsbereitem Personal, das immer zur Stelle war. Wir würden das Hotel Belvedere definitiv weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!

Ich habe ganz spontan eine Anfrage dem Hotel per E-Mail gesendet und innert 30 Minuten sofort Antwort erhalten. Geplant war ein Aufenthalt von einer Nacht. Da es mir aber so gut gefallen hat, habe ich kurzfristig um eine Nacht verlängert. Glücklicherweise war das Zimmer noch frei und so genoss ich zwei wunderschöne erholsame Tage in diesem traumhaften Hotel. Das Personal im ganzen Hotelkomplex ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man fühlt sich als Gast wertgeschätzt. Obwohl ich kein Wort italienisch spreche, war die Kommunikation problemlos, da Deutschkenntnisse beim Personal vorhanden ist. Der neue Spa ist ein Traum und ein Ort der Ruhe sowie Entspannung. Ich begrüsse es sehr, dass es eine kinderfreie Zeitspanne gibt. So kann der Aufenthalt gemäss seinen Bedürfnissen individuell gewählt werden. Hotelzimmer, Spa-Bereich, Restaurant etc. war gepflegt/sauber. Da gibt es absolut nichts zu beanstanden. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichhaltig mit einer tollen Auswahl an verschiedenen Köstlichkeiten. Ich kann das Belvedere nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Infolge erhöhter Lage ist es schön ruhig und dennoch ist man zu Fuss innert 10 Minuten im Zentrum bzw. am See.
