Parking was not as expected as there was no Hotel parking

Easy check in - gentleman assisted with our bags, nice big room, lovely evening meal and drinks that did not cost a fortune - looking forward to breakfast - Super stay - thanks to everyone

Arrived late (following a long day cycling).
My bike was placed in a secure garage and locked up for the night👍
I had a curry and a couple of beers and felt like a local. Everyone was super friendly !!
Breakfast was fantastic and set me up for the day.
I would definitely stay here again.

A very interesting historic building, our room was prepared with a good choice of tea, coffee and chocolate drinks to use. The bedroom was traditionally decorated in keeping with the building, and importantly the bed was comfortable - we slept well. We understand that gradually there is some updating being done in parts of the hotel. The dining/breakfast room is lovely, and Ryan and the staff are friendly and helpful. Thank you. Rose and Colin
