Very satisfied with a hotel, worthy of this price. When I made a mistake at the time of booking, I saw that the room information showed that the facilities for the disabled were provided, and I didn’t think about it. I found that it was a special room for the disabled. It was really embarrassing. . . Before the check-in, the hotel contacted me via Ctrip and asked me about my check-in time. My answer may arrive at noon, which will be far earlier than the hotel's check-in time. The reply will be arranged according to the situation on the day. On the day of the check-in, we arrived at the hotel around 11:00 and they were all ready. Thank you very much! The hotel was originally remodeled by the bank and opened only last year, new and atmospheric. There are seven or eight restaurants in the hotel lobby, and the taste is comprehensive. Geographically, it is located in the downtown area, walking close to the hotels around the Thames, and next to the subway station. The decor of the room is completely classic British style, the details are carefully polished, very special and very like. There are no less than 20 kinds of bath products, which is extremely luxurious. I saw a comment on the book saying that the sound of the music downstairs was noisy, but the actual experience was completely unrecognizable. The sound insulation of the window was well done. The sound of the door next door was noisy. This may be the only fly in the ointment.

We stayed here for 3 nights to celebrate my daughters 40th, we stayed on the 5th floor, we had room 30 which had a dodgy door so make sure it’s closed properly if you stay in it, the room was advertised as a city view but all we could see was the royal London hospital, my daughter had room 33 which you could see the shard from, just so your aware if your paying extra for the view it’s not really worth it, anyway to the good points of which there were many, check in was very quick and easy, you will need a £50 refundable deposit upon arrival, the reception staff were all very helpful and friendly, the room was very modern and we had plenty of space, the bed was comfy and we never heard any noise from anywhere during our stay, the rooms are a little sp**** and clinical, a few pictures on the walls would make a huge difference but didn’t in any way affect our stay, the area itself isn’t the best, lots of shops that were wholesale only, all shuttered up on a night with lots of graffiti on them, if you leave the apartments and turn right you come to the Castle pub, we went in here for a drink but the music wasn’t to our liking so left after one, if you keep to the left where the street splits at the Castle it’s like a different world, new buildings all very nice and clean, this way takes you towards the Tower Hill tube station which we used as we called into the Goodman’s field (Wetherspoons) for a breakfast to start the day, there are closer tube stations to the Aptel though, we would stay here again but it’s a little too far out for me, but don’t hesitate if your thinking of booking it, you won’t be disappointed

Marlin Apartments London Bridge - Empire Square

The Pro’s: Good location close to Borough Market, the Shard and the City of London. Staff are generally friendly, the apartments are a decent size for London, and when originally constructed back in 2006, were built to a good standard & come equipped with dishwasher, microwave, hob and washer-dryer. The towels in the bathroom were of a good quality. The Con’s: Apartments are tired and desperately in need of refurbishment not to mention regular maintenance and cleaning. The bed has some kind of orthopedic mattress, being rock hard and very difficult to sleep on, and the sofa in the living room was old, covered in stains and uncomfortable. Only one lift was working throughout our stay (not good in a 21 floor tower) and nobody turned up in the six days that we stayed to fix it. Wi-Fi in the room didn’t work - as a temporary solution we were given the password for another room with a weak signal and informed that the internet would be fixed within two days - needless to say it wasn’t. Overall a poor product and we won’t be returning.

I stayed here with my partner when visiting London and for one night it was ‘fine’ for what we needed, but we wouldn’t want to stay here for any long period of time. GOOD POINTS: The check in process was reliable with good communication from the hotel/booking website prior to our arrival. The location is ideal, right next to a tube station with local amenities nearby. Our en suite room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We both slept soundly all night. Room facilities were really good. Plenty of bath towels. A small clothes rack. Kettle with good selection of tea/coffee, biscuits, and a hairdryer. BAD POINTS: The room is in need of some attention. The skirting boards desperately need re-painting. The carpet could do with a deep clean. The bathroom door was damaged. Mould present on the bathroom ceiling. The TV did not work correctly, only one channel had any signal. There didn’t appear to be any staff on site during the night. Not necessary a ‘bad point’ but something to bear in mind (though I admit this may be present in the small print when booking, I could have missed this). There was only one entrance and exit to the building. I dread to think what would happen if a fire broke out near the main door. Price is expensive and the quality does not reflect this unfortunately.

good location, can enjoy the night view of london and see the shard building in the open air common area. as there are many people staying in the bedroom, you can't expect the air quality to be good though

Very good hostel location for budget travelers Within walking distance to almost everything as well as down the street from the London Bridge Train/Tube station It's on a VERY busy street so it does get very noisy - be sure to pack ear plugs or noise cancelling headphones Rooms and Bathrooms were small but clean Wifi was spotty but cant complain Will stay here again when im back

The rooms were very loud- as other reviews have mentioned. We stayed in the pods and they were clean and cool with the changing coloured lights! The beds were super hard and pillows extremely flat- but pretty standard for a hostel. They also had no clean towels for the first day we were there. The location was amazing. It wasn't the most friendly hostel and felt hard to meet people- but over all, worth the cost! Also, THEY HAVE AC!! huge bonus points for that.. and considering the incredible location and cheap cost, I'd recommend.

We were so surprised by this hotel considering it’s price! We were in 2 adults and 2 children and our room was sized above average for London hotels. The check in was super easy. Comfortable beds, very silent, friendly staff and goos breakfast. We are definitely staying here again!
