I recently stayed at the Ritz Carlton in downtown Los Angeles and was thoroughly disappointed by my experience. Upon checking out, I discovered that several valuable items were missing from my room, presumably misplaced by housekeeping. When I brought this to the attention of management, I expected a professional response and assistance in resolving the issue. Instead, I encountered a dismissive attitude. Management not only failed to take responsibility but also insisted that I would have to pay for the missing items, which was both frustrating and unacceptable. The lack of accountability and support from the staff was shocking for a hotel of this caliber. It left a sour taste in what should have been a luxurious stay. I do not recommend this hotel if you value your belongings and expect reliable customer service.
