We booked this hotel based on high marks thru ***********. Traveler beware! *********** reviews are junk. It happened to me once before as their hotel recommendations turned out to be false. I wrote to them about the situation but to no avail so I will stop using them from now on. When you just enter the city of Loutra Ipatis you realize that something is wrong. It looks like a ghost town with abandoned buildings and emaciated stray dogs in large numbers. The hotel is a rundown place, dark, depressing. The attendant tried his best to accommodate us by showing us different rooms but all those rooms looked untidy, dated and dark. We couldn't stay there and left. Luckily, right across the street there was a good hotel Alexakis so we didn't have to go far.
