Absolutely AMAZING! From the welcome check-in, incredible hotel, to our beautiful enormous room, to the fabulous Spa. We had an incredible time that we will remember forever - this place exceeds all expectations. It was my daughters birthday and the staff made her celebrations all the better! Thank you!

We recently stayed at the new lodges on the lake, these were absolutely stunning and peaceful exactly how you would hope, you couldn’t fault them. The hotel has always been a favourite of ours and somewhere my wife has wanted to stay. Unfortunately it wasn’t all great though, The most disappointing part for us and really dampened the arrival was the staff member that took us to our lodge, her name was Abi, We excitedly got in to our buggy not knowing what to expect she didn’t say a word and infact we caught her whilst driving us through the busy car park on her phone messaging someone! We arrived at The Reeds and wow they really look like the pictures, tranquil and something very special, but again my wife had to open her own door whilst Abi walked off on her phone! Once in the lodge we were blown away just what you would imagine but again this staff member kept looking in the mirror at her self and couldn’t be less interested if she tried, what ever was on her phone and who ever she was messaging must have been more important then us, she briefly explained a few bits and swiftly went away, thankfully! Our stay was perfect just as we were hoping it would be, but unfortunately the welcome we got was not what I’d expect from a luxury hotel where you’re paying a lot of money. Abi clearly is in the wrong job or something is distracting her but customer service shouldn’t be for her if that’s how she treats every guest! Disappointing!

Amazing spa day, the best we’ve ever been to: everything was perfect. Little touches such as hot towels on arrival and mini juices. Facilities were insane, I especially loved the wild swimming pool as no one else was in it so had that to myself. Amazing treatment with Sarah, bamboo massage. Robes, changing rooms, toilets etc all excellent and so luxurious. Really enjoyed our plant based lunch too. Would 100% be back again one day ❤️ lovely spa reception staff too.

Had high tea with my sister ,as it was a belated christmas present from her son who happens to live just down the road from you as i was over from Australia on business, the high tea was lovely ,service good ,but the price which we were charged for a bottle of RVs sparkling Rosa wine was deplorable and a bottle of sparkling water the bill for the wine and water came to just over a hundred pounds ,i did a bit of research and found that was double the price of the wine, needless to say i will not be recommending your hotel anytime soon and will let all my business partners know

Although the place was lovely, the food was terrible. It was literally like going back to the 1980s. The only thing for vegans in one restaurant - Botanica - (and as plant-based, we were advised that this was the best restaurant for us) - was salad and chips. Abysmal vegan menu.

We visited South a lodge for afternoon tea a birthday present bought by our daughter. It was a lovely experience with excellent service in a beautiful room. There were shades of ‘Downtown’ through the whole afternoon. There was a huge selection of teas and the sandwiches, cakes and scones were all tasty and varied.

Had a generally nice stay but the Camellia restaurant was genuinely dreadful. Serving staff were great but management very poor and the food was terrible. Sirloin steak for two was possibly the worst steak I’ve had in twenty years, almost entirely fat. When queries on this the manager argued with me on it. Just bad service.

We stayed with a group of friends while attending Goodwood Revival (classic car festival) close by. The hotel has huge charm and character and has benefited from major upgrades in recent years. The staff were lovely and friendly as well as attentive- a special mention to Cedric in the bar and Matthew in the restaurant. The Spa Center (completed in 2019) is nothing short of spectacular. While exploring the hotel I noted that they have an excellent event/conference/wedding area too at a separate end of the hotel.
