Firstly, we marked it is honeymoon stay but there is no gesture of welcoming you for a honeymoon stay at all.
We booked £310 for Deluxe Room per night in a rural area. They allowed us early check in but they don’t even write us a card for honeymoon stay or anything.
We booked the restaurant at £80 per head but the menu is totally different from what shown online. It is not professional at all.
They front office is also unfriendly to Chinese and the staff has a sense of hierarchy. I felt disgusting for it.
The only good thing is the breakfast.

This hotel was fantastic. Its a place you want to come and stay for a while. Good for short trips as well but its so peaceful and beautiful. The grounds are well maintained, the staff goes above and beyond. Very friendly people who love the place they work. You feel like you are going back in time but with modern day amenities.

This place was something out of the country life magazine, it was breath taking and my partner loved it. Very quiet and easy to just relax and stop for a while.

Very nice weekend stay. The manor house and the village are beautiful. Room was nice and large, staff friendly.

The Slaughters Manor House desperately fails to live up to its elegant name and premium pricing. Our room was shockingly unclean, with cobwebs in corners, dusty surfaces, and ants crawling across the floor - issues you wouldn't expect at any hotel, let alone one charging luxury rates. The bathroom flooded during our stay, and seeing other recent reviews mention the same issue suggests management is ignoring these basic maintenance problems. The food quality was equally disappointing - the substandard breakfast was so poor that we immediately cancelled our dinner reservations. Fortunately, there are many fantastic restaurants just a short drive away. While the hotel enjoys a beautiful location perfect for exploring the area, the lack of basic cleanliness, poor food quality, flooding bathrooms, and indifferent service make it impossible to justify the expensive rates. Save your money and book elsewhere.

Food was expensive, service and quality was poor. Bathroom in garden suite flooded. Wait staff had hygiene problem which was really off putting. Overall just disappointing as the rooms are very nice. But I wouldn’t pay the amount they ask for! Breakfast was particularly disappointing
