Liberty Place

We chose this hotel because of the good reviews, but other than the location, there wasn't much else... The second floor room looked nice, but! We were assigned to a room in the middle of the first floor, and the moment we entered the room, it smelled like sewage. The bathroom floor was cracked. There was also a cockroach of an unbelievable size, and a small dirty towel was left there. The next morning, the room was cleaned, but the towel had not been changed, so we asked the staff to change it, but they looked suspicious... The front desk staff was Vietnamese, so communication in English was not very smooth. The bicycles that were available for free rental were not very comfortable, so we gave up on using them. It depends on the room, but the Wi-Fi in our room on the first floor was terrible. The terrace seats on the second floor were comfortable and had Wi-Fi. If you can stay in a room on the second floor, it's worth staying there. The quality of the rooms varies greatly... We were refused a room change...

Well located hotel, with simple but sufficient facilities. Reception is friendly. Free bicycles are available to go to the center, 5 minutes away. Good hot water. Varied and modest breakfast in quantity.

Not bad

I had a great rest and it was in a really quiet location. The breakfast was not bad and the free bike rental was really nice. Luang Prabang is flat so it's good for cycling.
