Das Hotel ist ruhig gelegen aber alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind groß und sauber. Das Frühstück hätte abwechslungsreicher und eine größere Auswahl haben können. Die Reception ist leider nicht immer mit englisch sprechenden Mitarbeitern besetzt.

Chose to stay here because of the rave reviews but found the place pretty average. The room I stayed in was quite noisy with sounds of other guests from the room above and outside. Breakfast wasn't great. 2 over-cooked eggs and a bread roll. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I stayed for a number of months at this hotel, so I know it well. It's the best hotel I've found in Luang Prabang. The managers, a Vietnamese couple named Hoa and Geuang, are very friendly and helpful, and Hoa (the wife) speaks pretty good English. The staff was always helpful. The rooms are relatively roomy (compared to most hotels in LPB), and have an excellent shower, an adequate bed (mattress on the firm side, but ok), an ok AC (a Thai brand), and adequate furniture (a nice, roomy wardrobe, a desk, a medium-size frig, and some small tables). The room I was in (on the first floor) was surprisingly cool most of the time, I think due to being in the shade. One word of warning: if you want to leave anything in the hotel freezer, be sure to label it with your name clearly. I made the mistake of putting an unmarked item (an ice pack) in the freezer, and it disappeared.

We had a great time at Villa Rattanakon in Luang Prabang. The room was pretty spacious with an extra single bed. Everything was clean and tidy. Breakfast that was included was delicious and filling, you get to chose from a few different options. They also organise tours to the waterfalls and transport to your next destination which we did through them. They also have free bikes to ride around town. Best thing about this place was its close proximity to the night market, only a 5 minute walk max.

Excellent accueil, très bonne literie, la chambre est très propre. La villa Rattanakon est très bien localisée, à proximité du centre de Luang Prabang (6 minutes à pied du marché de nuit). Le personnel est extrêmement gentil et attentionné. Je recommande vivement
