2 men tried to get in to our room (Room 4) at around 3 in the morning. Thank God for His protection as I was awake at that time. I saw the shadow of the 1st guy through the blinds and saw his hands trying to remove the blinds. I woke up my husband and told him someone was outside our room. Thank God for my husband’s alertness and presence of mind! He screamed which seemed rattled the 1st guy and husband asked me to run and asked for help. It was a very traumatizing experience and the resort really handled it poorly. Their caretaker checked on us after 2.5hrs. We felt trapped inside the hotel. No security guards or whatsoever. No one was answering our calls. Really bad experience. We went there to relax but we left full of disappointments, we were so stressed. We didn’t enjoy our stay. They didn’t even know how to compensate us. They are lost how to handle such situation. They said this was the 1st time something like this happened. It’s a shame as they have really helpful, accommodating and nice staffs. There’s a lot of what ifs. What if my mom who is a PWD was the one who stayed at that room? Or my 2 nieces? What if I was not awake? I really cannot imagine what else could’ve happened. This is to warn everyone and for the resort to check their security measures.
