For me this was the second time at this camping. I actually do not remember the first staying much, except that the room was quite big in space and slept in a small room with two beds. This time I do have a good memory of the visit. This was organized by the association I belong to. We had an agreement to get the keys after the opening time but there was some confusion around this as it was unclear who was really supposed to stay at the camping and who had already taken the keys and hence a cabin. Anyway, we managed to sort it out. I was sharing a cabin with another member of the association and we got the view over the lake. I must admit that the place is very relaxing and beautiful and I can think it is a paradise during summer. By being there in the low season, there was really noone and it was very quiet and calm. The cabin had two rooms and a small kitchen. One of the rooms had four beds. I took though the other room with a couch that could be transformed in a small bed and moved a madrass on it. It was not perfect fitting but it was comfortable enough. With an extra blanket the temperature was perfect although it was a bit chilly in general. The cabin was quite clean, sadly the internet was working poorly. There was good space for two people to have our belongings around, but I can think if we would have been four or more it would have been a bit tight. I had to walk a bit to reach the bathroom and shower, but I really enjoyed the facility as being very clean and spacious and comfortable. I can think though that when the camping is crowded it can be a bit more challenging to keep up this standard. All together a very good and pleasant visit, although our purpose was not to stay at the camping but participate in an event in Mariestad. We had cars so we reached the town by driving, but it is possible to take a quite long walk to move between the camping the the center of the town.
