I checked in at around 12 o'clock in the evening and when I opened the door, there was no cleaning. I went to the front desk and said that it was not cleaned. The foreigner at the front desk just said that there was no one at the moment and the rooms were full. What should I do? I don’t know if there is anyone there, the rooms are all full. Like a robot. Lovely hotel very reputable, but pricey, restaurant onsite. We opted for a small restaurant across and 1/2 block away.
Short walk from the train station and a short train ride to the city.

The Hostellerie du Grünewald is beautiful, cozy and convenient hotel. We love the ambiance and location too. The bar is amazing with excellent service.
The room is super clean with everything we need.
Highly recommend this hotel.

Jättefint hotell i lugnt område med tillmötesgående personal och god frukost. Vi hade ett familjerum med fullt utrustat kök vilket vi förvisso inte använde då vi bara stannade en natt. Men vi återvänder gärna för en längre vistelse!

We stayed at the Hostellerie du Grunewald for 3 nights and booked a superior room, located in the second floor. The room was clean and spacious and equipped with kettle and a Dyson fan. As the hotel is in a historic building, there is no air condition, but that's not a problem. Great welcome by the employee at the reception, who spoke many languages which made the check in a friendly experience. The breakfast buffet was good, not a huge choice, but everything there, what I expected... Good hotel for a short stay a bit outside of the city center, with free parking at the train station nearby and free buses that lead to the city (line 10 and 11) - getting into town is very easy.
