The Old Vicarage

We stayed for 3 nights at the old vicarage in the Valley Room. The room was spotlessly clean, double aspect window with a lovely view of the garden. Bed has a lovely soft mattress, there’s a wardrobe and a small console table with the kettles and red and coffee supplies. Full length mirror on the wall by a plug so easy to style hair.The bathroom has a good shower and again spotlessly clean, and complimentary toiletries. The breakfasts were freshly cooked to our requirements and a plentiful supply of hot drinks and juice. The hosts Andy and Wendy are so friendly and welcoming. Nothing too much trouble, happy to recommend places to go, directions etc and even book tables for dinner! I would not hesitate to recommend this B&B to anyone and we are planning to visit again in the future!! Exceptional all round

We visited the Old Vicarage last week . Lovely people , excellent setting , superb house and fittings . Fine and well cooked breakfasts . . Just all round GOOD . ! On arrival , we were greeted by the owner who had spent two years re- furnishing the house . The quality of the workmanship was just superb . Gardens lovely and accessible . We really could not fault the place ., and will go back again . Lots to see in the area , including the Eden Project . We were delighted with the whole experience .

Beautiful location set in a lovely little village within close proximity to the Eden Project, Charlestown and Foley. We stayed in the Rashleigh room which was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. We even asked if it had been recently redecorated! The room facilities were excellent including the wonderfully comfortable bed, bath and power shower and smart TV. The tea/coffee making facilities and bath/shower toiletries were a lovely added touch and well appreciated!! Andy and Wendy were fantastic hosts and made us feel so welcome. They went above and beyond not only with their extensive breakfast selection (fresh fruit, cereals, juices, tea/coffee and cooked breakfast) but also with their hosting services including their invaluable knowledge of the local area. They even provided maps for us of highlighted must see locations, scenic routes, perfect beaches and offered to reserve restaurants. For us, their hosting and wonderful hospitality made our stay. We cannot recommend this B&B enough!! Their hard work really shone through- Beautiful house, beautiful couple, fantastic stay to a stunning part of the country.

Myself and my husband thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay at The Old Vicarage. We stayed in the Rashleigh room which was extremely comfortable with a large ensuite. The breakfasts were very tasty and Wendy and Andy were brilliant hosts.

Andy and Wendy are brilliant hosts. So welcoming , helpful and knowledgeable! The B&B itself feels so homely, with a spotlessly clean room and en-suite. We both agreed the best nights sleep on a really comfortable bed! The breakfasts were wonderful, cooked really well with good produce, very filling !! Definitely worth a visit, whether visiting the Eden project which is just minutes away, as well as being quite central to Fowey, Charlestown, Lanhydrock . We cannot recommend this B & B highly enough !
