Hotels Near Parish of Our Lady of Victories in Madrid

I booked a room at Caballero Errante last minute for a work trip because it was just a short cab ride to the office. That’s about where the convenience ended. The check-in guy spoke very little English, and the room was a 'smoking room'. Trying to explain that opening the windows wouldn't magically freshen up the cigarette-infused pillows was like trying to explain quantum physics to a cat. There was no other room available at the check in time, so there I was stranded until after the work dinner to be able to check into the room. The room I got looked nothing like the rooms in the pictures. If you’re expecting thrills, look elsewhere. This place is as basic as a plain slice of bread, and calling it a 2-star hotel might be pushing it. Oh, and the vending machine by the entrance? It had some, let's say, ”unexpected” items in it, like handcuffs... maybe the ”Wandering Knight” (Caballero Errante) is after something else than a good nigth of sleep.

We stayed here for a weekend break, smooth check-in and staff were Brilliant and helpful,hotel was spotless, the rooms were spacious and comfortable and spoilt with the view of Madrid,view bar was fabulous,wifi was brilliant and breakfast was wow especially the omelettes, will be definitely be returning, thanks Riu Plaza for a brilliant break

Stayed for a week in an 8 bed dorm as a solo traveller and it was excellent! Staff were really friendly and helpful even at 5am. Accommodation was comfortable and clean with good pillows and thick curtains for a good night sleep. Air con worked amazing so didn't get too hot despite it being 25C outside at night. It was also great to have a toilet, shower and sinks in the dorm so it was only split between the 8. Location of the hostel is great, can walk to pretty much everything (15 mins to the Palace, 10 mins to Plaza, 20 minutes to Museums). Would easily recommend to everyone!

This is a nice modern hotel. It’s easy to get to from the metro and airport. It’s only a 30 minute metro into the centre of Madrid from the hotel. The room was good, only problem was the pillows were a bit thin and the window was difficult to keep open unless you wedged something in there but they’re only very minor issues and I was happily stay here again.

It was a very pleasant stay. It is close to Plenilunio Mall, about 7 minutes walking, also close to the airport. It is located in a quiet area. To be able to cook in the aprtment you need to make a deposit of 20 euros. Overall satisfied with the experience and the price

Habitaciones bien decoradas, de manera funcional. Baño impecable. Camas muy cómodas. Personal muy amable, servicial y joven. Los servicios de restauración, hay que pagarlos aparte. Hay minibar, pero vacío. Hay máquina de venta de aperitivos y bebidas, pero funciona, exclusivamente, con billetes de 5 €, devolviendo cambio. Inconveniente: está apartado del pueblo de Barajas, y del Aeropuerto. El taxi, desde la T1-T2-T3, cuesta aproximadamente 20 €. El taxi a la T-4, puede costar 24 € aproximadamente. Una de las ventajas que tiene, es que suele haber taxis parados junto a la puerta del hotel. El hotel queda lejos de las estaciones de metro, pero hay paradas de autobuses cercanas, que conectan con Madrid Canillejas.

Ok so after reading reviews on here and on booking website it was mixed reviews I was worried and not I booked the room for £49.52 inc breakfast we was only here for one night we got a taxi from the airport to vertice roomspace it cost around €46 u can get a train however we weren’t sure where the train would stop the taxi driver didn’t know where the hotel was and stopped to ask for directions checked in fine receptionist was lovely and helpful u can pay additional for breakfast at €7 each if u didn’t book b&b the room well what can I say it’s basic I had to laugh literally a bed tv wardrobe and a desk air con didn’t work but it was cold anyway but if u come here in the summer u may wanna make sure it works the bathroom was small and the shower well u couldn’t swing a cat!!! I asked for another blanket as we were cold and they brought us one in madrid city centre isn’t far got the train which was €4.40 for x2 adults one way however cause we didn’t know how to use the ticket machine we ended up with a single so had to buy another to get bck u need the C3 line which takes u to sol which is the city centre bare in mind when u buy a ticket it only accepts card not cash but the main stations accept cash literally a 20-30 min train ride overall the hotel is ok for 1 night anymore than that I would choose something else Breakfast was standard the hot food scrambled egg sausages and bacon didn’t look every warm so didn’t touch that the breakfast was ok continental style I’ve had better breakfast else where in all honestly for 1 night it was fine the bed was comfy only thing is another pillow and another blanket and it would have been good Downstairs there is a little break room with vending machines to get food and also microwaves which I thought was a nice little touch

Inexpensive alternative to Madrid yet very close. We stayed overnight and called ahead to get a room on higher floor. It was comfortable and clean. There is a mall close by too. The on site restaurant stays open late per Madrids cool nights. The breakfast has cheeses, types of coffee, jamón and breads, croissants but no eggs. Oatmeal and yoghurt is available w fresh juices. A great value really!

We had to be in the Getafe neighbourhood for a few days, so B&B Hotel was an excellent choice for us. Especially given the fact that we had previously just stayed at a Getafe hotel with a less than ideal location. B&B was more centrally located; directly opposite a sizeable Lidl Supermarket, close to a bus stop, several restaurants and within about 10/15 minutes walking distance to the Getafe Central Metro Station. This made it quite convenient and just perfect for us.👍🏽 As I customarily do for my reviews, I'll divvy this up into the 'Positives' and 'Negatives'. PROS: Upon check-in, (and for an extension), we met PATRICIA. Patricia was a jovial, delightful woman who ensured a smooth, hitch-free process. Another staffer we encountered, (for yet another extension of our booking), was CRISTINA GÓMEZ. Christina was just as kind and pleasant. We had a nice chat with her. At check-out, MÓNICA SÁNCHEZ was also an absolute joy to interact with. So as you can see, service at B&B Hotel is absolutely fabulous! Every hotel employee we encountered was 100% professional, so B&B deserves tops marks for exemplary service! 👌🏽 I have no complaints whatsoever about the service that was provided at B&B Hotel, Getafe. We were informed about breakfast in the lobby for an additional fee of 8.50 Euros per person. Unfortunately we were so busy, we didn't get to try B&B Hotel's breakfast during our stay, but I must stay that it looked disappointing when we caught a glimpse of it on our way out one morning. The breakfast was mostly comprised of Breads, Pastries, Frittatas, Cold Meats, Fresh Fruit, Yogurts, Juices, Teas and Coffees. They say 'never judge a book by it's cover', but it just didn't look interesting enough for us to bother trying. I liked the deep blue colored walls, geometric signs/symbols, and a wall with 16 bold paintings hung close to each other by the seating/breakfast area. This is at the Lobby/Reception area. The B&B hotel logo was casually designed with chalk on what looked like a black board. Other written messages on the Reception/Lobby walls were 'smart peope sleep better', 'one cup of free coffee is always a good idea', 'embrace it', 'we have a great connection'- (in reference to the WiFi). This was done in white writing, with a simple font format. There was an actual bike mounted on an exterior wall. Refer to my pictures of it. It was really cool! 🚲 😎 The Reception area was basically 2 black stand alone high desks that housed the computers for processing check-ins and check-outs. These were rather unique. The 'come lift me up' and 'take me down' on the elevators/lifts was my favorite! 😍 Please refer to my posted pictures to see what I mean. The whole place had a cartoony, Pop-Art quality to it that was very appealing to the eye. It was all very fun and funky. 👍🏽 The lobby had a standing fridge with Chocolate, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Chewing Gum, a variety of Sandwiches, Fruit Juices, Energy Drinks, Beer, Carbonated Sodas and Water. We travel with 40 students aged 12 and the treatment of all staff was excellent. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and the bed is very comfortable. The breakfast is very varied and the dinner is wonderful. There is a very good location. We congratulate all the staff of reception, restaurant and cleaning.
