The location of the hotel is very good, the rooms are not big, but very clean and hygienic, the sheets are washed very white, it is very comfortable at first glance. The breakfast is also very rich, that is, the breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays starts at 8 o’clock. When I leave, I catch a plane on Saturday. There is no breakfast when I get down at 7:30. The front desk said that there are some simple food and drinks in the small bar. Point, it feels more humane, the experience of staying in is very good, it is recommended!

Lovely hotel, amazingly centrally situated, and so we were able to walk to all the things we needed to see and do. Breakfast excellent with a good choice of hot and cold food. Staff generally very kind and polite. Our one complaint was that the TV in the bedroom we had, kept losing or freezing the picture on the BBC world news channel, and a small icon kept appearing from LG, which after waiting a while restored the screen. We complained about this on the first morning we were there, and the reception noted it and siad an engineer would go and attend to it. This was not done and for the whole stay sadly we were frustrated by the TV which was really of no use to us what so ever. I have read other similar stories on Tripadvisor about the same complaint, and so clearly the hotel is aware of the problem but seemingly chooses not to do anything about it. This is a shame, beacuse something so easy, and expected would make a huge difference to one's enjoyment of the room. Other than that, really we had no complaints, and would certainly stay again.

As a Marriott Titanium / Lifetime Platinum Elite Guest, our family [husband, wife and two young daughters] decided to visit Madrid, Spain to start our month-long 2023 summer vacation in Europe. We spent five (5) nights at Westin Palace Madrid using our Bonvoy points in late May / early June 2023. Please see the thirty-eight (38) photos we posted with this review of all aspects of the hotel. Within days after making our five (5) night stay using Marriott Bonvoy points approximately ten (10) months prior to our arrival date, we emailed General Manager, Pablo Flores and advised him of our future stay as well as our special requests, including our request for an Executive Suite, which would comfortably host our family of four. Within hours of our email, we received a thoughtful reply Paloma Hidalgo, Director of Rooms, whom immediately provided us with a complimentary guaranteed upgrade to an Executive Suite and further, Ms. Hidalgo readily granted all of our other special requests. The prompt response did not come as a surprise to us given how active the management of this property is in reading and promptly replying to past guests on Trip Advisor as well as the Marriott Bonvoy website, which is but a mere sign of management’s commitment to exemplary customer service. Not surprisingly, we were overjoyed with such a response and really looked forward to our future stay at The Westin Palace Madrid. This gorgeous historic hotel is magnificently located in Madrid overlooking the Neptune Fountain and less than a three minute walk to the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, less than a five minute walk to the Prado Museum and less than a ten minute walk to the Reina Sofia Museum. It is also extremely close to Retiro Park and is within an easy 15 minute walk to Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and the Gran Via as well as many bars, restaurant, trendy cafés, market and other cultural attractions. You can easily walk everywhere throughout the entire city but public transportation options abound in close proximity to the hotel as well. Our initial visit to the Westin Palace Madrid did not disappoint, especially when the hotel accommodated our extremely early check-in (before 9:00 am). The check-in process with Ms. Hidalgo, Estefanía Martinez, Front Office Assistant Manager and Juan at the reception desk was a breeze. Further, Ms. Martinez was kind enough to personally escort us to our suite and show us all of the features and amenities of same. This was very thoughtful on the part of Ms. Martinez and very much appreciated. Throughout our entire five (5) night stay, Ms. Hidalgo and Ms. Martinez were especially helpful and friendly. We simply loved our Palace Executive Suite with slightly over 1,000 square feet in total space with a sublime view of the Neptune Fountain; it was truly remarkable. Spain has lived in the most satisfying hotel. Although the hotel is not big, it is exquisite, the service is impeccable, the spare parts are full set of L'Occitane, and extra bath supplies and hand cream are given. The favorite photos are taken on the balcony of the room. Very Spanish style, breakfast menu can be single point, rich choice, highly recommended!

Excellent staff- everyone was so friendly and helpful. We arrived very early from international flight and they let us check in early. Great location to walk to museums and great restaurants. Rooftop bar and pool were very nice- again, super friendly service. Nice complimentary bottled water and chocolates brought to the room in the evening. Needed to get shoes shined and they got it done for me. Nice artwork throughout hotel. Didn’t charge for drinks in mini fridge- nice touch. Did I mention how friendly everyone is?

Stayed at the nh madrid for a long weekend trip and cannot recommend this hotel enough the staff at the hotel are brilliant and are happy to help with anything from taxis to places to go we stayed in room 701 with a balcony overlooking parts of madrid absolutely beautiful hotel is directly opposite the train station with bus stop and metro just outside so easy access from the airport and only a 15 to 20 minute walk from all madrid has to offer fantastic hotel we look forward to returning xxx

Great time at hotel roof at cosy bar. Really helps when downtown everything keeps the heat: pavement and buildings. Nice Cold glass of Cava and beautiful view from above. Many thanks to hotel staff being so friendly, hospitable, and ceremonial. It counts nowadays twice, when many do not care about good manners. I can recommend Villa Vinci as a highly agreeable and enjoyable place to stay. Last but not least it has a strategic location at Calle Gran Via, which always guarantees you a “place to be”.

Stayed for 3 nights on Sept 19th. Room was small but comfortable bed. It's not for those who aren't comfortable with each other as the shower opens out into the room. Air con was strong and cold and you can adjust the temperature as it's your own room. Asked for a hairdryer at reception and it was a very powerful one. I only rate this a 4/5 as one day after leaving our room at 1030 (the cleaner was outside and asked if we wanted it cleaned and we told her we did) we got back around 6pm to find our door not closed properly, it was clearly ajar and we had no towels or toilet roll. We did go to reception and get those items but there was no apology for the room being left open. Thankfully nothing was taken. We also made use of the little outside space one evening and sat there with some drinks we had bought from the lidl down the road (turn right out the hotel and walk straight down to the main road and you can't miss it). Don't bother using public transport to get to Plaza Mayor it is only a 20 minute walk and you get to take it the streets of Madrid. We walked everywhere whilst here as the main areas you'll want to see are all within a 25-30min radius.

There is breakfast, classic bread with tomato and ham. There are fruits, yogurt, and coffee. The front desk is good in English, the service is very good, help us book taxi, eat in the morning to catch the plane. The hotel is not far from Atocha train station and it is a 10 minute walk. The room was given fruit and water. My conversion plug broke down, and the front desk was very helpful to find one for me and gave it to me. Good value for money

We stayed for a week and really enjoyed it. Exceptionally clean, really friendly and attentive staff, good atmosphere in the downstairs bar area and on the roof bar, good breakfast and very comfy, well equipped room. Wasn’t too sure initially about the area but we soon felt very comfortable and found some great bars and restaurants locally off the tourist trail. Great location for walking to the centre, La Latina, El Rastro, the park (El Retiro), the art galleries and metro/train connections. Loved Madrid.

Close to Atocha Railway Station, we walked to the hotel for about 15 minutes, and should be closer to the entrance. Free freshly ground coffee, tea bags and biscuits are available at the front desk for your own use. The room faces two of our rooms, one to the road and one to the patio. The downside is that there are no trash cans in the room and there is no kettle. We stayed for one night and the next day, I thought it was ok.

This review is for 60 balconies iconic. So, a surprise for me, after reserving on booking.com, is that this is an apart hotel. Positives - the location is AMAZING and the room (we had an appt for 3 people) was EXCELLENT . Staff were very helpful. Very clean throughout. Bed was super comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. A gorgeous breakfast was delivered every morning. Bread, fruit, yogurts, cereals… Negatives - pool (which had workmen upgrading the roof terrace) was freezing. Naturally, not heated, but attached to hose from mains water. Icy. Personally, not a fan of the frosted glass doors/walls to the toilet. We had a large teenager sleeping on the pull down single bed. Was a bit small. Positives far outweigh the negatives. As long as you don’t have your heart set on swimming, you will not regret staying here.
