It takes an hour to rent a car from the city to the hotel. After calling a car with Grab or Bolt, the driver will negotiate the price with you again when he sees that you are outside the city, and will not give you the price on the app.
When you arrive at the hotel, you check in at the restaurant. The welcome drink is nice. The golf cart will take the luggage to the room first and then take the guests to the room.
The room is not big, but the equipment is OK, because it will be colder to take a bath at night in the mountains, and the bathroom water does not feel very hot.
There is a hot spring bathing pool on the second floor of our room type with a temperature of about 40 degrees. You can use the bubbles to turn it into a massage spa. Because it was dinner time when we arrived, we ordered food at the restaurant. The food at this resort was indeed delicious.
The experience here was good, but the nightmare started at night, because we had an extra bed, the mattress was placed on the floor, and we turned on a small light to sleep. In the middle of the night, we were woken up by friends and we saw that everything was crawling with ants and slugs. It was all over the bed and floor... I called the front desk in the middle of the night and no one responded. I had to turn off the lights and wait for the bugs to go away. No one responded until 7 o'clock in the morning. I didn't sleep all night.
Later, I asked my friends in other rooms and they all turned on the lights but nothing happened. It may be because our room is at the far side. In the morning, I saw that the whole road was full of ants. It may be that they were directly close to our room.
The subsequent hotel compensation was that our room had free dinner and an extra bed. It was said that the room could not be discounted because the card had been swiped. Although the hotel sincerely said it was sorry, I would not go back again.

Very nice hotel in the middle of the forest. Very peaceful place. Nice restaurant. But be prepared of not doing much, as there is not much to do..
I must also tell that i was expecting to see more wild life in the forest.
The villa was nice. I have missed a dark/thicker curtains to reduce light early morning. And pool machine was doing some noise during the night.

Location: Hotel is about an hour from downtown. We rented a car. Easy to locate with Google map.
Service: good service from the crew from front desk, concierge, restaurant.
Cleanliness: Slight stain on the bedsheet.
Amenities: all good.
Others: Would prefer to have connecting bathroom or toilet as it’s common sharing for both rooms.
Overall, great stay. A good getaway to enjoy the nature.

La Lanna, sleep in a camper van by the stream. It's winter, let's go to Chiang Mai! The weather is cool and comfortable these days. For those looking for a place to stay amidst nature, I recommend "a camper van by the stream." The newest rooms that have just been completed. The camper van has a beautiful design with glass that allows a panoramic view, a large bed, a sitting area in the room, and an outside balcony. There is a private bathroom and a hot tub amidst nature, overlooking the stream. The atmosphere is great, definitely awesome. We ate at Kangjong Restaurant, every menu is delicious. Coming up north, you have to order northern food to match the atmosphere. The breakfast is also excellent. I recommend this place.
