First off. The parking is extremely expensive. On arrival there was no welcome which we found quite impersonal, but we checked in via the self serve and it was easy and efficient. Unfortunately our room had a pungent smell of sick which hadn't been cleaned properly. It was very late and we had our son with us. We were unable to change the room as the hotel was full. However, the staff member in the morning kindly offered to change our room.for the second night. Staff were very friendly, however I would have expected a drink or breakfast for the inconvenience. The lady on shift in the morning we left (30.12) was great, very polite.

The manager refused to except liability for the damage, but accused me of harassment of her staff. I still believe that she was not telling the truth. Still not had an apology or refund. Will never book here again. It was the first and will be the last.

Arrived at a well lit car park with plenty of available spaces. Gitesh checked us in and was very friendly. Our room 329 was spotless, really lovely room with a comfortable bed. The shower was lovely, too. The food was good in the restaurant and all the team was extremely friendly and all made an effort to talk to us.

Very comfortable bed and pillows. Clean room . Perfect size room , plenty of sockets . All I needed for a safe stay. Could have done with some shampoo and conditioner but it wasn't vital. Friendly helpful staff , my granddaughter was given a Christmas stocking on arrival which was a lovely gesture .

Stayed for one night for works Christmas do. We stayed in room 226 on the 2nd floor, very clean room comfortable bed. Only fault with room was the drain smelt from the toilet. Only a short walk into town. Very large carpark. Friendly staff on reception

Hotel was great, comfy, clean and good location. Unfortunately the low review was because the car park machine wasn't working. When asked at reception they took my registration then said to fill in this TripAdvisor review to match my name against the booking and against my Car Reg which I wrote down for them. I was in a rush and this was a big flaff that I could do without as having to reset my TripAdvisor password etc, and I am still not convinced that I won't get a ticket through the post
