Hotels Near Roots For Boracay in Malay

I arrive at the hotel around 12noon from the previous hotel in newcoast and yes i was able to check in right away despite the standard check-in is 2pm thats to their friendly Front Desk Associate who assisted me. I book a maybe deluxe room and i got 1 double bed and 1 single bed. I was able to take a quick dip to their pool but i can't stay too long because its very cold and the wind blowing strong.

My third time going to Boracay, my first time was in Fairways & Bluewater Resorts, however it was too far, 2nd time we stayed in Villa De Oro, and for my third time, we stayed here at La Carmela. Our stay here at La Carmela was a clutch decision but a truly memorable one. We celebrated New Year's Eve 2022 at La Carmela. We stayed there for 9 nights. But I must say, some employees are not that dedicated and passionate with what they do, except for the security personnel who were all very accommodating. I myself, I am a front office agent, I can't even feel the sincerity with the service they provide. I was actually expecting a lot from La Carmela since Mr. Boy Abunda has always been promoting this resort during all his shows, in addition to that, so many celebrities and even influencers have stayed in La Carmela and seemed to like their services. But, to my dismay, all my expectation weren't met, unfortunately. Food is average, our daily breakfast was always served ice cold, pool is massive and beautiful, location is priceless since it's near the beach and just near to everything else where. I just wished they can step up their services including personal services to their guests, most especially that there are already a lot of hotels booming as their competitors. I know La Carmela has been there for countless years already, so why not make their legacy a good one. Overall, our room was okay, we waited for so long for our MUR, plus the ac in my mother's room is not functioning well. Would love to consider this hotel once more as it is perfect for budget travelers like me. stayed for 9 nights with my partner, mother, and my sister, and we only paid PHP 25k for everything including their plated breakfast. I hope you consider all the points I have mentioned, See you soon, La Carmela. :)

NOTE: There are two Nigi Nigi hotels, managed by the same company. One is Nigi Nigi Nu Noos. The other is Nigi Nigi Too, near the No. 1 boat station. TripAdvisor unfortunately combined the reviews of both. So also watch the part about Nigi Nigi Nunu Hotel, because some of it is also about Nigi Nigi Too. The following are the comments about Nigi Nigi Too: I live in Nigi Nigi Too, which is very good. 1. The location of the hotel is super good. The hotel is located by the beach, at boat station 1. There are three boat stations along White Beach, which are no longer used as boat stations (just the name). Boat Station 1 is a quieter area of the beach. Boat station 2 and 3 are also within walking distance from the beach, there are hotels, restaurants and shops along the sidewalk, boat station 1 has no sidewalk and the hotel faces the beach directly. The beach here is very wide and not that crowded. Be aware that Boracay is very calm with very few waves so it is possible to walk quite a distance. About a ten minute walk to the center of the beach (near the main shopping area, D'Mall). The Nigi Nijinunu Hotel is located near the center of town. 2. The price is very reasonable including breakfast. I got a really good price on the site (there is also a 7 day discount here). 3. The hotel has an older wooden building with about 2 rooms (called ”traditional”), next to a larger 3-story concrete building, the ”traditional” rooms in the wooden building are cheaper. I stayed in one of the wooden traditional rooms. The room was large and had working air conditioning, a small fridge (a godsend!), toilet and shower. All wood is simple and very classy. The cable TV also had English channels and everything else in foreign languages. However, it is surrounded by trees, so it is very dark. Anyway, it was very comfortable and the room had a wooden deck with table and chairs. 4. In front of the beach is a very simple outdoor restaurant/bar. Nothing fancy, but relaxing and enjoyable. There are plastic tables and chairs. Breakfast is included in the room rate and there are three options (American, Filipino, Panamanian). The lunch and dinner prices are also very reasonable and the food is very good. This is a great place to stay with a view of the beautiful beach in front of you. , 5. There are rest tables and chairs on the beach in front of the hotel for guests to use. 6. The front desk and restaurant staff are very friendly and attentive. Overall, the price is very good, the location is excellent, the staff are very friendly and attentive, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Very good value.

Went there for the Valentines day weekend. It was very enjoyable with friendly staff and the suite was clean and wonderful. Very quiet and within walking distance to White Beach and conveniently located near a 24 hour McDonalds and Subway which certainly came in handy when wanting to grab a quick bite to eat. They offered a complimentary free for one day breakfast voucher in their hotel, whuch was also very delicious. Its a bit of a ride to and from the ferry to get there but if you can get a package deal going to there and back certainly recommend it. Plan ahead with one of the local drivers so you have plenty of time to catch your plane as ours flew only once a day to and from Clark in Luzon. But very enjoyable, also wear a lot of sunscreen because its very easy to get sunburned in a short amount of time while having fun in the beautiful crystal clear water as we did. The air conditioning in the room was quite helpful and enjoyable esp after getting sunburned. Although the shower didn't have a door so expect the bathroom floor to get a bit wet easily. Plenty to watch on the cable television in the room as well, bed was a bit rickety sounding on one side but otherwise very comfortable. Easy access to the room with a keycard.

Really grand resort, perfect location close to Dmall and the beach chairs are fantastic! There is a fee (350PHP) each time you use the gym which I thought was a bit ridiculous, but the breakfast buffet is great. Buffet dinner is also available at an extra expense.

Always a pleasure to stay here in Henann Park. Rooms, service, facilities and services are excellent. I just wish they extend the gym operation and have it Complimentary for inhouse guest, they charge a fee for that. Other than that, all is perfect.

Where do I begin? I saw this hotel in Agoda but decided to directly book via their website. I paid for the whole fee specified in the website, that is, good for 3 people, and 1 kid aged 12 years old. The room says ”sleeps 4”. Upon arriving at the hotel, I was told that we need to pay an additional fee of 800 per day (X 4 days = 3,200) coz my son, 12 years old, is already considered an adult. I insisted that in the website, it asked for the age of my son and I put in 12 (see pic) under the ”children” category. One staff ”explained” to me condescendingly, as if I dont know what I'm talking about, that the website is wrong and that they're gonna tell the one who takes care of the website to update information so and so. In fact, this guy, didn't apologize for the fact that their website information and rate and the front desk rate are INCONSISTENT. Instead, he said that extra charges are given (if applicable) when guests arrive at the hotel: ”we tell them here at the hotel”. Why would you do that? If indeed my son is not considered a kid anymore, why wasn't the extra charge added to the website when I was about to pay for the bill online? Why would they charge it when we are already at the hotel? For a planner like me, I like to pay all hotel charges and plane charges prior to the trip so that I can budget and reserve my money for the food and other activities during the vacay. But then, they wouldn't give the key to the room unless I pay the extra charges first. Oh well. Also, the internet wasnt working for two days. The room phone wasn't working. Location: Quiet. Convenient since theres a mall attached to the hotel. General Mgr was accommodating. IT staff was efficient; he immediately checked the wifi connection when he came back from his leave. Housekeeping staff efficient and helpful.

We enjoyed everything about Fairways, the resort is very big with so much to do that you’re never bored. There are five pools in different areas of the resort. The room is spacious and clean. Breakfast was average and could have been better - there weren’t many western options such as bacon or hash browns. The staff were all extremely accommodating and friendly. It’s easy to get transport from the resort to other parts of the island.

Stayed at this hotel as a overnight layover from boracay. We had a vert early morning flight. Pros: Hotel staff are absolutely lovely. Surprinsing roof top restaurant. Food was okay, cocktails nice. Generally a clean hotel. Very comfy bed. Convenient location. Cons: it's right on the port, so you are hearing everything if youre a light sleeper. Ie trucks coming in and out, dog fights people shouting. Everything. There was also a sewer smell that came from the bathroom. Overall OK enough for a stopover.

Love this place. Tuburan Cove is a slice of paradise located just 30 minutes from Caticlan airport. We stayed in a beachfront Glamping Cottage which are very comfortable and pretty cheap considering the location. Fall asleep listening to the waves on the shore and wake up and open the curtains to amazing views of the beach and sea. The resort is very private and is fronted by a lovely white sand beach. The restaurant served good, affordable, Filipino and Western food. They have a gorgeous infinity pool with sun loungers and sunbrellas…great for photos We also enjoyed the kayaking.
