Our second visit to Beck Hall Hotel and as impressive as the first. The food served here is amazing and all of the staff are outstanding, clearly part of an incredible team who make a stay here even more special. The walks in the area are beautiful even when the weather isn’t great. Initially we were going to visit annually but that is increasing to bi-annual. If we won the lottery we’d move in!

We had a lovely stay at Beck Hall. The service was excellent, very friendly and helpful and we appreciated you making a fuss of our friend who was celebrating a big birthday! The en-suite bedroom was very comfy and the complimentary toiletries, drinks and truffles were top notch. We are in the restaurant every evening because the vegan fayre and wide choice was hard to resist. Great breakfasts too.

Such a lovely place to stay. The plant based food was outstanding, the room was romantic, cosy and quirky (Historic (Green) Room), and there were wonderful walks from the doorstep. One minor criticism would be there's no window or extractor fan in the bathroom, which was very tiny (lovely bathroom, however). Laid back and friendly atmosphere. I was one happy vegan and would love to return! Thank you.

Absolutely lovely 😍 Such delicious vegan food, a cosy and laid back place with wonderful walks from the doorstep. Couldn't ask for more...apart from a window or extractor fan in the bathroom, with it being tiny. Loved the Historic (Green) Room with the four poster bed. Very romantic. A return visit is a must. Thank you, Beck Hall, from one grateful vegan!

We had such a special time in Beck Hall. Being able to choose anything off the menu was such a luxury and all the food we had was really tasty. The portion sizes were really big but that was nice after having walked around Malham Cove, Gordale Scar and Janet’s Foss. These were all such beautiful landscape features and the walks were so quiet and lovely despite the cold. The rooms were clean and cosy and I was so impressed by the vegan chocolates in the room. If we could have we would have tried everything from the breakfast menu but once I had the pancake stack I couldn’t get enough so had that for the two mornings we were there. We’ll be back if not for the walks and dogs, then for the afternoon tea! I’d highly recommend Beck Hall to anyone, whether vegan or not, because it’s such a special place and the staff are so friendly and helpful.

How many hotels stays start with a short walk over a narrow bridge over a river, to access the hotel? This is just the first thing that brings a smile to your face when reaching Beck Hall hotel. We entered via the Restaurant/Bar to be met with a warm welcome from the French gentleman serving in the restaurant.. another moment which raised a smile. From the moment we approached the hotel to when we checked out everything was excellent. A great room overlooking the river, the gentle sound of the river is a fabulous sound to fall asleep to. The room was excellent, lovely bathroom. We ate dinner in the restaurant, it’s a lovely space and the food was superb. My partner is Vegan, so to have a full Vegan menu she can select from is a real treat. There’s a great choice of dishes, and as I say above the food was superb. The portions are large, the service very good and we were very happy with the value, having booked Dinner B&B. The hotel is set in beautiful Yorkshire countryside, and I say this as a Lancastrian! Overall a great hotel, great service from the staff, lovely room, fabulous location.. we’ll be back soon.

Beck Hall surpassed all our expectations when we booked a much needed scenic night away. The food was good and the lounge and bedrooms comfortable and welcoming. The local walking is exceptional despite mixed weather. We are already planning a return in 2025.

We stayed for four nights. We arrived early, our room was ready. Nice room with sofa and plenty of room to put our things. Given flask of plant milk for tea and coffee and two Booja Booja chocolate bars. It was very peaceful, quiet and comfortable. The shower was excellent and east to operate. The food was lovely with good service.
