The hotel is situated on the quieter side of Stalis which suited us. It features its own restaurant which was constantly busy, not just with guests, it is very popular. We had a few meals here, breakfast, dinner and tea, All were excellent and very reasonable priced and the food was spot on. The place is immaculately clean with stunningly kept gardens. If you turn right out of the hotel there are 2 traditional tavernas and a supermarket, also a cocktail bar with hanging chairs. Turn left and just over the road is a great little cocktail bar called Ethnic Shisha Bar ran by Anton. Fantastic place, don't let "Shisha Bar" put you off, we went in daily and never seen anyone using them. Lovely chilled place and cheap, the cocktails were very good, same one further up the ***** was double in price and no where near as nice. Keep waling up around 5 mins and you will come to Anatolia beachfront restaurant, nice views but can be pricey, it starts to get busy from there along the ***** with bars and restaurants. Back to the hotel - we stayed in one of the new apartment blocks (56) Self catering. Sitting room with small kitchen, plenty of cutlery, decent sized cups and glasses , 2 sofas that can be used as beds and air con (paid separate we paid 70 for the week for both bedroom and living room, these are pre-set at 22 which was fine, you can have just 1 room for 50 or both for 70) the bedroom was a double with 2 separate mattress pushed together. Lots of storage and a big mirror. The bathroom was a good size with plenty of hot water and good shower. All very modern. Nice balcony to sit out for an evening drink but as you are at the back the main road can become noisy in the day but didn't spoil anything as we were hardly there then. We only stayed a week and we had our towels changed 3 or 4 times and the room was mopped and cleaned. Very impressed. The apartments were just by the pool, good size, "plenty" of sunbeds and shade if needed. Didn't have to get up once to put towels down, although there was a couple of people who did there was never any problems getting a bed, The only place we have been to and you didn't have to worry. NIKOS ran the pool bar which also provides snacks at reasonable price. You can get a Gyros and a large beer or wine for less than a tenner. The pool area again is spotless, the music isn't too loud and Nikos is a top man.
