i went to this amazing property located on rocky malindii ocean.it has 22 specious rooms with suites on top floor.and 5 apartments right at the beach front. it has an excellent rocky slope with nice floors. the hotel is very quiet and romantic ideal for holiday makers and honeymooners. the lady at the reception is extremely friendly and my business host cecilia is an amazing lady too with high standard of customer and care. i will certainly come back with my family and have this lovely serene hotel.

I took my cousin's here for a family getaway and we had a beautiful family room overlooking the beach, large accomodating everyone's needs. A shout out to manager James for looking after us through the whole experience, and King George who managed a full day boat trip with lunch included.

Dark room, very old and neglected, lack of cleanliness, rotten bathroom water, not on the beachfront, many bugs everywhere, they don't have towels for the beach, they told me to use the one in the shower, not a painful experience I would never go back and the dirty pool couldn't be used either.

Probably the worst place I've ever stayed. We arrived at 6:00 p.m. They gave us a room with air conditioning and a fan, which worked when we entered for the first time. When we left our suitcases in the room, we realized that the air conditioning was not cooling, the fan was minimal in power, the bathroom stank of sewage (we didn't realize it before because it was open) and the light was cut off every three minutes. . Added to that the piece was dirty. When we asked for the money back, they told us that it was ok but that they were going to deduct one night from us, because after 6:00 p.m. it counts as one day. Don't EVER come to Silver Rock, horrible place to stay. I recommend Summertime Villa, which is 5 minutes away and everything is much better.

Good place. Friendly staff. Highly Recommend. The breakfast was sumptuous . Rooms service was done on time . The location of the hotel is one of a kind few minutes walk to the beach with security around 24/7. Higly recommend for a holiday stay.

The property is quite nice with some level of privacy which is really amazing, great value for money!The location is very convenient,15 min drive from Malindi Airport ( depending on the roads condition ).
We had some low points though ,like blackouts -very disappointing as food in the refrigerator got spoiled on two occasions!, edge reception upon checkin , irritating beach boys, and NO PRIVATE BEACH! also the air conditioning system wasnt working most times.
I think its a great place if management could work on customer satisfaction and experience.

The property on the outside looks ok. But the bedding, the room and the pillows are filthy dirty. The bathroom fixtures terrible. The staff are friendly with wonderful smiles. However, the manager cannot keep his word. Becarful before booking.
