This is a repeat of last spring. Last time I stayed in the main building, but this time I stayed in a sea-facing room on the 5th floor of the annex. Although the room is a little small, it feels new compared to the main building. Like the main building, the room has a toilet (Japanese style) and a spacious bathroom. The downside is that there is no shower in the bathroom. There is a separate large bath. The view from the room was a little inferior compared to the main building, but I was satisfied with the view of the fishing port. The negative point is that the room is not well cleaned, but it is generally clean. For breakfast, you can have any refills of rice, and the number of side dishes is also reasonable. I didn't really feel it because the last time I visited was in April, but it's about a 15 minute walk from Manazuru Station and it's quite a hill. It's a downhill walk from the station, but the climb up was quite strenuous under the scorching sun. It's a family-run inn, so it's very casual. There is no formal atmosphere and you can spend your time freely. The inside of the hotel is very retro from the Showa era and is very old, so it may not be suitable for those who are looking for high quality service and luxury in an inn. Smoking is allowed in the room, which is helpful for smokers. Finally, as a general rule, only regular guests are allowed to stay alone.
