Quite the experience, great price and value for the money

Wonderful afternoon tea. Just back from afternoon tea with my friend to celebrate his birthday. Beautiful restaurant greeted by lovely staff. Denilson who served us was absolutely fantastic! What a lovely man and a credit to the hotel. The selection of savouries were beautiful and the cakes were amazing. We couldn’t eat everything so brought home a take away box. Definitely worth a visit, we will definitely be back ! Thank you! You. made my friend’s special birthday celebration even more special!

Great Hotel, attentive staff and amazing rooms. Stayed one night with breakfast. Everything from checking in, to breakfast was perfect. We didn’t stay for dinner but had drinks at the bar, lovely staff looked after us very well. Breakfast was amazing, everything was cooked well and of good quality. Definitely recommend for a cosy couples stay

Excellent time away for my daughters birthday, food, room and staff were excellent Will definitely return soon, the ambiance of the hotel is very relaxing. Very close to city centre for shopping & entertainment but ate in hotel restaurants all was superb.

We booked this hotel months ago. When we checked in, they tried to charge us more than it should have been, but we had taken a copy of our booking with us, so the amount was corrected. When we checked out, they tried to charge us for room service we hadn’t had. When that was removed from our bill, they again tried to overcharge us, a different amount from the amount when we checked in, so again this had to be rectified. The rooms are big with plenty of storage space. We booked a deluxe king room. The room we were given was an accessible room, so had the red emergency cords. The toilet was very high and the bathroom top where the basin was, had partly come away from the wall. We couldn’t turn the bathroom towel rail off, so reported this to reception around 7pm on the first night. Nobody came to sort it out, so we reported it again the next morning. By 10am it still hadn’t been fixed, although it was turned off by the time we got back in late that afternoon. The bed wasn’t a king size, it was 2 singles put together. We could feel the ridge in the middle from the edges of the mattresses. We reported this to reception the first morning. They said it would be sorted, but it wasn’t. The covering on the handles of the bedside drawers - one was missing and one was hanging off. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. We had dinner on our second night. As my partner needed gluten free options, we were given the allergen guide. The meals listed on the allergen guide weren’t the same meals as on the menu and some items on the allergen guide were not marked as containing gluten when they did (eg - Bakewell tart). This could have resulted in serious consequences if we hadn’t noticed. This was our second visit, the first visit was much better. We won’t be returning.

Stayed over on the 25.08.2024. Its was our first time back at the Lowry for 19 years. We received a great welcome from our receptionist Nuria, who couldn't have been more helpful throughout our short stay. Had dinner in the bar as we hadn't booked the main restaurant and it was fully booked. Thoroughly enjoyed our food and drink. Our waitress (Lowenna) provided us with exceptional service throughout the meal (good luck with your Masters). Stayed in room 101 which was big, quiet and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was included in the price and it didn't disappoint. Whilst I've not stayed at any other Manchester hotels recently, the Lowry clearly sets a very high bar. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Excellent 5 star hotel i would definitely recommend it to everyone of my friends and family, they have very helpful staff who are always ready to help you and I had a great experience on my visit. I will definitely use this hotel again next time I travel to Manchester
